Private site close to warren dunes
If you are looking for privacy, this is your place. Two private sites, very clean port a potty, great hosts and close to hiking, cute towns and Warren Dunes. Anne recommended Froelich’s Bakery in Three Oaks, best slice of chocolate cake, especially after a 6 mile hike in the rain.
Nice camping time on anne’s land
Anne was super kind and a super accommodating host! We stayed two nights on her land to visit nearby Warren Dunes but the site itself is magical in and of itself with forests and marshland nearby. In terms of accommodations, we cooked both nights thanks to a fire pit and grill and we even got to try Anne’s amazing peach and roasted pepper salsa! The campsites are quite secluded but Anne’s homestead is a welcoming place full of characters like Bucky the dog to introduce yourself to! The land itself is quite far off the beaten track but this makes the stay all the more worthwhile! We would highly recommend a stay if you’re interested in exploring the area and can’t find campsites at any of the surrounding parks. Honestly, our stay was more wild and our host more hospitable than any state park but don’t take my word for it! Try it out for yourself! Thanks, Anne!
Loved our stay!
Great hosts, very welcoming! The site is secluded and spacious with a short walk to the bathroom and water spout. They are very knowledgeable about what's around them and know what to recommend for activities! We loved our time here and will probably be back!
