10 Acre Mackinac Base Camp

A really peaceful, simple, secluded area. Great having a nearby convenience store with gas. Great launching point for adventuring around the eastern UP!

Very secluded and quiet. Beautiful spot to relax and smell the fresh pine.

Very nice, private, rustic campground. We enjoyed our stay. Only con is that it was tricky to maneuver our truck and 14 foot trailer. If the host were to take out just a few more trees that would help alot.

Stayed 2 nights to ride the Moran -166 bike race, site was easy to find and a great space to relax beforehand and konk out afterwards. I'd definitely use the site again for future visits to the area.

We had a devine time at David's hip camp! Our truck camp fit perfect. The out house was clean and a breeze to use. Loved the location. We will be back!

It was a quiet place to camp. Nice and close to the sites to see. The lake down the road was awesome, clear, with a sandy bottom, and shallow. It was great to come back to a campsite that was secluded after being with all the other tourists.

It's quiet and really shady. The lake down the road is clear with a sandy bottom. This was an awesome camping spot. We had a blast going to all the touristy places and then coming back to our very private and quiet campsite. If you don't mind going without amenities this is a great place. We love Boone docking and this is a great spot.
