Camp in the midst of our old apple orchard trees. These trees are 50+ years old and while they bear limited fruit, they provide great shelter for campers! Easy access in and out of the camp-site. Be aware of stumps in the ground when you're entering and exiting the site!
Our farm is set in an idyllic riverside landscape located just minutes from the beautiful Montague Bookmill and a short bike ride from lakes and rivers for swimming.
The property abuts the Connecticut River, features forests, pastures, apple and pear orchard and our very own honeybee farm.
It is a secluded and quiet spot that is private, and located at the end of a dead end road. There is a train nearby, and you will occasionally hear it passing rhythmically in the night.
We welcome self-contained campers and those with prior camping experience. We ask that you practice "leave no trace" camping.
Please understand that as a working farm, we are often coming and going from the apiary sites throughout the day. If you are expecting complete seclusion and privacy, this may not be the location for you!

Old Apple Orchard Camp is spacious and has nice shade trees, so we didn't roast in the sun. Brian was very helpful when we needed to make changes to our reservation. There is a train track nearby, so there was some train noise, but luckily no loud horns.

This place is very tucked away in an otherwise some suburban area. It’s close to all the villages of Montague. Very private with good fire pits.

Beautiful spot and very private. Brian was also incredibly communicative and actually ended up giving us a nicer spot because no one had booked it while we were there. Would definitely recommend. Location was awesome too!

Had a great time and perfect for what it is. Nice little firepit and a low table to keep coolers and belongings off the ground. Scenic with the apple orchard and sunflower field.
Connecticut River is close by, nice roads for biking around, and close enough to turner falls and the book mill if you want to grab lunch or something.
Would definitely recommend it!
