A hidden gem!!
We arrived late on the first night but Kathleen was still very helpful in directing us to the right spot. We woke up the next day to find a wonderful property with little trails through the pine forest behind her property that she made for her grand children. There were lawn chairs through out the yard and an amazing metal fire pit for the campers to use. The toilet was a bit on the primitive side but it is there. One constructive thing I can mention here to Kathleen is that, along the travel, we ran into a tripod toilet that was slightly an upgrade from yours but was very sturdy and joyful to use. Finally, I like to say that we really loved the location of this place as we were splitting our time between Cape Cod, Plymouth, and Boston. Her spot was literally the prime location for it. Her recommendation on the clam chowder and lobster bisque at the Plymouth bay was a hit! Let me not forget to mention another amazing fact about this place, and that is the town she's in is surrounded by cranberry farms!! For a Midwesterner like myself, it was a delightful sight! We truly had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Convenient to plymouth plantation
We chose this site for the proximity to the Mayflower and Plimoth Plantation. This turned out to be a good choice. When we arrived we were surprised to see how close the house was to we were setting up. That being said, the overall stay was fine. The host’s brother helped us upon arrival with electric and filling our water tank. He even moved the wire for the dog run so that our camper could fit into the area where we were staying. We also did not know that there was going to be a second camper in the yard. The young couple in the camper were both nice and mostly kept to themselves. Their dog even said hello and was cute.
What a great place! Nice wooded large yard area with some places to pull up for car camping or a short walk to lovely little clearings in the more densely wooded bits. Very nice and accommodating hosts too! We had pretty cold, rainy, and even snowy weather the two nights we were there, so we unfortunately didn’t meet the dog and cat on-site (I heard they are lovely and social). I’d stay again if we find ourselves in the area again - we appreciated the great experience!
It is such a perfect place to get away for a night. Victoria was really welcoming, great with communicating at the time of booking, and super helpful. It’s definitely a cozy spot to go out and hangout. Having our own campfire was awesome and definitely a great experience.
My wife and I had a great time. The property is beautiful and Victoria was really accommodating. She let us park wherever we wanted and we felt like we were alone. Close to many great hikes and the water. Plenty of wood to burn and a huge fire pit. We were surprised by the many cranberry bogs in the area.
