Peaceful and quiet getaway
We all had a lovely time. The host was very friendly and helpful. I will go back again in the winter. My dog had a wonderful time running around the back yard.
Aina was an absolutely wonderful host and the cabin was so cozy and dreamy! Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency, we had to cut our trip short to care for a friend in the hospital. Aina came to check on us the following morning and was nothing short of amazing and outstandingly kind!
Cabin in the Woods was perfect! The cabin was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. We didn’t get to spend time exploring as we had hoped, but plan to return for a longer trip soon! We had an issue upon arrival, reached out to Ai who quickly responded even over the Thanksgiving holiday.
We will be back!!
Perfect weekend getaway
This was a great cabin for a weekend getaway! It is close to the host's house, but still felt private and secluded. The indoor wood stove heated up the whole cabin perfectly in 20 degree F weather and was super cozy!
Cozy, romantic woodland retreat
What an incredible cabin. Gorgeous property, woods, big garden, outdoor fire pit—all exactly like the photos (and even more beautiful in fall). Despite the cabin being slightly closer to the "main house" than we expected, we enjoyed absolute privacy and quiet —it as as though we were the only ones on the property. Communication with the host was very pleasant and easy, and we felt well taken care of.
The cabin was spacious, rustic, and woodsy with all the amenities of home: fully furnished kitchen (cookware, silverware, microwave, etc.), nice bathroom with large bathtub, fresh towels, and even a mini hairdryer!
The wood stove really made the visit. Not only did the stove keep the entire cabin warm on chilly nights (and gave it the wonderful scent of woodsmoke!), building and tending to the fires, both the woodstove and the outdoor fire pit, proved a very enjoyable activity in and of itself. In addition to close-by local spots, Northampton/the Pioneer Valley are less than an hour away, making for great day trips.
Thank you for a lovely stay!
Super cute cabin with all the comforts of home (and fascinating books!) on a lovely property. Aina was friendly and responsive to all our needs and offered suggestions on local happenings. The cabin is right near the hosts' house, so this is not a remote location. But it was perfect for us as a home base to refresh and relax and explore. When the house lights are out, the stargazing is pretty beautiful too!
Home away from home
This cabin was beautiful & cozy. The host was very communicative and really set up the place well. We brought things we thought we’d need to cook ect and were pleasantly surprised to find it already there! It was fun exploring the pictures and books (I learned to tie a few knots from one) throughout the place and we loved sipping coffee by the wood stove with our pup. The area of Granville is quiet and gorgeous.
