Casselman River Sites

Peaceful Valley Homestead is on 53 acres of beautiful land that has both wooded areas and open spaces alongside the South Branch Casselman River. The tenants of the homestead are a family tending to their garden, livestock and care for the land. It is less than 15 minutes away from New Germany State Park, less than 25 minutes away from Deep Creek Lake and The Wisp Resort.

This area is fairly quiet with only the noise of the nearby locals who drive on the main road which isn't far from the camp sites. The camp sites are along the Casselman River so the area will get quite buggy with mosquitoes. The terrain is soft and there are areas where there are holes and the there is uneven terrain. The location where we picked for the campsites are the most even and level sites.
