We stayed at site 2 in a towable 24foot rv. Everything was grand including the view. Melissa was extremely responsive and so accomodating. Cant wait to stay again.

Camp Winery
It was peaceful, but not far from other amenities. We spent most of our time at the campsite but went to the closest winery one afternoon. It was so busy and full of people. Yet only a mile away at our camp we would’ve never known it if we had decided to stay. Our kids enjoyed the giant tire swing, and the dog enjoyed the creek.

Such an awesome spot and our group had a great time. Melissa is an incredible host and even gave us worms for a day of fishing (we caught around 10 fish). Plenty of space for tents, canopies, great campfire, and awesome location for stopping by breweries, wineries, and restaurants. We had plenty of space around our campsite for throwing a football around as well. My group and I would 100% book again and I would absolutely recommend this place to others and thank Melissa!

Melissa was very responsive and accommodating. We stayed at Site 1 which offers far more privacy than any public campsites in the area. We fished at their pond which is a short drive from the campsite but offers access to a fairly large private pond with what seemed like a healthy fish population. Definitely recommend!

My stay at Camp Winery was peaceful and relaxing. I stayed in Site 2, which is a little less secluded than Sites 1 or 3 but has a great view of the field. Melissa was a gracious host, giving me recommendations on where to go/visit in the area and checking in to make sure my stay was going well.

We had a great stay here. The host was very nice and responsive and checked in before, during, and after our stay to make sure all was well. There is slight road noise but nothing overly loud. The location was fun and lovely, and you can stay there all day enjoying nature or venture to a winery or farm.

We stayed on site 1. It felt very private and there was a giant tire swing and a creek. Very close to a lot of fun places to visit. I would come back again! The host was very responsive and kind. Thanks!

Melissa and Jack are incredible hosts! The campsite grass is lush and beautiful. My family and I had such a wonderful time at Site One. We were greeted with a beautiful wild flower bouquet. We took advantage of the firewood and water add-ons. Our family is new to camping and this spot was perfect. My husband and daughters (ages 22, 20 and 15) had an incredible amount of space for everything we wanted to do. We were on the tire swing until dark! Every now and then you did see cars from the road way off in the distance so if you want to feel completely off the grid, this may not be the space for you. It wasn’t an issue for us at all. We even made a visit over to Linganore!

We spent 2 nights on site 2 and enjoyed the peace and quiet yet close to numerous vineyards. We visited Linganore winery and Shedman Brewery (both at the same location) on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed both the wine and cider while listening to great music. Woke to the mooing of cows and crowing of roosters and a beautiful sunrise. Visited the Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary (a few miles away) for a quick 2 mile hike before visiting the Ankle Winery. We had both a tour and tasting followed by live music. Next time we will try for site #1- close to the stream. And a hike around the Linganore lake. Melissa was a great host, very responsive to all my text questions. Loved the special touch of beautiful flowers on the picnic table!

This is my third stay at Camp Winery. I love it there. So peaceful and pretty. And, added bonus - I listen to the live music at Linganore Winery just down the street 1-4pm, camp overnight and hit the next day's live music at Linganore. Just a great, easy, enjoyable stay on many levels. Thanks, Melissa - for always making me feel welcome.

Camp Winery
Melissa was such an incredibly gracious and generous host! The camp site is lovely- private and set up so nicely with a comfy ping if table, a handy potty tent, and some beautiful flowers awaiting us.
Mellisa was very responsive and helpful, and the area has lots of great activities near by. We look forward to booking again this fall.

The location of the farm was great- close to many wineries and a golf course. The area was really beautiful. We liked that the site had a fire pit and picnic table for our use, and the welcome flowers left on the table were beautiful and thoughtful. My only complaint was that the grass at Site 1 was pretty tall and I had to put shoes and tall socks on after finding two ticks crawling up my legs; not ideal in the summer heat. The listing said the site was big enough for 6 people, but we found it only fit our 2-person tent due to the tall surrounding grass. Also, just a note, if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because the bugs are very loud at night!

If you are looking for that remote, only soul within 100 miles feel, you will surely get that here. We stayed on site 3 and were very much surprised at how secluded we felt. The site was rustic, as natural as you can get, so make sure you bring everything you need with you. Not a far drive from some great wineries, ice cream creameries or spectacular view of rolling farmland and beautiful sunsets. If you keep your eye to the sky you might catch a Paraglider or 2!

We had a great weekend in the corn fields. The sites are roomy, private, and peacefully beautiful. The location was perfect for visiting the wineries and breweries in the area. It was a perfect trip.

Simply amazing. A very enormous campsite, very private and super welcoming with flowers on the picnic table on arrival.
This site is great for a peaceful stay & camping. It is huge. Has a creek near trees that offer a lot of shade.
Lots of colorful birds to see in the morning, deer and offspring frequent the area.
Great for more than one family. Rustic allows more privacy that is worth it. The Loo is placed just right with a great view and very clean.
Definitely recommend and will frequent for local camping with families.

Melissa is a fantastic host with a beautiful property. Very helpful in guiding you to local places and is super responsive. Our site had great shade and was flat which was great for our tent. The creek close by was loved by our pups. We got a bundle of wood for our site which was plenty for one night. We will be back for sure!

Camp Winery
Our family had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Camp Winery! Melissa was an exceptional host, even letting my kids help feed her horses and showing them cool spots around our camp. I would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to a few friends. It's a perfect spot for visiting Linganore Winery and getting away for a few days.

Very relaxing atmosphere; the view in the morning is lovely with the walnut and sycamore trees. The creek is a nice feature of site 1, too. Just remember your bug spray :)! We took the small drive to Frederick in the morning and enjoyed the vibe there as well. And can't beat the proximity to many hiking spots!

We had an amazing stay at site 1. The site was spacious and private with beautiful views. Melissa had our wood at the site for us when we arrived and she was great to talk with and so responsive beforehand. It was great to wade in the creek and the stars were beautiful at night. Proximity to breweries and wineries is an awesome bonus . We will definitely be back!
