Great spot! Loved camping there. Would definitely go back
This was such a lovely spot. Right on the water - good for kayaking and fishing. Nice shade and great big fire bit for grilling and keeping warm. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this spot!

I love the place next to the river... very private and cozy. Host was beyond cordial and generous. Kids and pets were really happy about the place... even though weather did not cooperate at all. I might come back for the end of summer.
Wonderful hospitality! Plenty of firewood and an amazing view of the water from the camp site. We’re already talking about coming back!

If you are looking to be in the woods with a quiet view of the river. You have found it. Friendly and helpful host. Be ready to wagon your gear down an easy short path or bring your four wheel drive. Picture perfect! Kids kayaked and fished right off the river bank and ate fresh eggs.
I really enjoyed my stay! The campsite was well maintained and the host was extremely hospitable. It was such a nice touch for them to have firewood well organized at the campsite which relieved a burden for us. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing camping experience.
It was a great space for me and my group. We enjoyed the view as well. Hosts were accommodating and very responsive!
This site on a creek was private and lovely, with a great view of the nearby Potomac River. I rented a kayak from the host, and had my choice of four different vessels and paddles, all in excellent condition. After paddling past just four homes, there was a large wildlife management area to paddle around with lots of places to explore. The birdwatching was fantastic, with plenty of bald eagles and great blue heron. We saw lots of fishing going on as well, and interesting wildlife at the site, like toads and crawdads.
Donna and Michael were amazing hosts. They were patient, kind, and accommodating with our numerous requests.
They had plenty of recreational and facilities accomodations and their plot of land was a great place to hipcamp!
We loved it!
