This is a fifty acre farm. The campsite is behind the barn. The silo will be unlocked and you can roll out your sleeping bags inside if you wish. The site offers seclusion and peace. No bathroom is provided. There is a very rudimentary outhouse shown in the pictures. Feel free to use the provided shovel to dig a neat cathole in the woods. The farm is up against several hundred acres of county land. Explore the plot of pines my grandfather planted or see the foundations of the old spring house. I provide a map and am happy to point you out to the boundaries. There is a woodstove in the silo and a firepit at the campsite. I sell fire wood for 2$ a piece. It is stacked up behind the cinderblock garage. Take what you need and leave cash under my door. Kindling you pick up is free. Please pour water over your ashes when you leave. I provide a bucket of water. Do not enter the barn, house, poolyard, or outbuildings. The corn silo is open for campers. The barn and poolyard are dangerous. Please keep dogs leashed and out of the barn. If hiking is difficult here you may want to visit nearby Piney Run Park. Excellent kyaking, hiking, and fishing. They do not allow powerboats or swimming so the water is pristine. If you would be interested in planning a wedding or concert on this farm please let me know.
