This site is ideal for having a stripped down place to unwind and enjoy the woods not too far from all of the things to see and do on the Pemaquid Peninsula and the rest of the midcoast. You will have the entire six acres of this property to yourself! This land is not really a glamping destination. It is bare and beautiful and just right for anyone who craves a real Maine
This site is ideal for having a stripped down place to unwind and enjoy the woods not too far from all of the things to see and do on the Pemaquid Peninsula and the rest of the midcoast. You will have the entire six acres of this property to yourself! This land is not really a glamping destination. It is bare and beautiful and just right for anyone who craves a real Maine tent-out. Bard owls and peeping frogs will keep you company if the mood remains mellow.
There is no poison ivy but there are ticks and mosquitoes. I treat my clothing and shoes with pemithrin and have had few issues. The main area of this site is over 250 feet down the access road from the state route but some road noise can still be heard. The nights are usually very peaceful though. Also, I am currently strategically grooming this lot to eventually build on so there will be evidence of this in the form of brush piles and surveyor’s flags.

Beautiful site! Perfect place to park the van as a home base to explore bristol and pemaquid point. Kelsey was an extremely thoughtful host and left drinking water at the site as well as a full solar shower bag. Site is a couple hundred feet off the main road. Could hear an occasional car but didn’t see a single one while at the site, as it’s set back far enough. She made some great local suggestions as well. I’ll definitely be back!
