This was an absolutely beautiful camp site. Nice little trails all around, quiet and convenient. Marilyn showed me around and was super kind and helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Rick and Marilyn for offering their land for campers!
Rick and his wife were great hosts and they have a lovely property! They helped ensure we were settled in with our gear, leaving us with everything we needed to have a relaxing night by the fire. The location is awesome if you’re looking to get away for a bit - I would highly recommend!
Rick was helpful friendly and welcoming. The campsite was so private and secluded, tucked away in the woods away from the farm buildings. The fire pit was sunken, just a really sweet layout. Rick has thought of many details that other hosts don't bother to attend to!
We saw the Milky Way, we heard many species of insects and animals, including different owls, some unusual frogs, coyotes.
Rick was a great host! Sent us messages to make sure we knew exactly what to do when we got there, met us when we pulled in, took us back t the site, and showed us around. Great, private site with a nice setup. We only stayed one night but would visit again!
This was the perfect place to stay at while bikepacking along the eastern trail to Portland! The site was beautiful and secluded, there were three chairs provided around a fire pit, along with materials to make a fire. Would definitely recommend!
Tent site was basic with space for tents, fire pit and open air privy. The sandy site made for tents was full of ant hills so we used the grass instead, which worked fine. The site was very buggy in the evenings. Worked as a place to crash while exploring the coast.
This was my first experience using Hipcamp, and it was fantastic. Rick was very responsive to each of my messages, and attentive without being intrusive. The site was well planned and lovely. A big grassy area nestled in the trees with a fire pit, a good spot for a tent, and a primitive pit toilet (but off to the side, hidden away behind dark cloth.) In the open, grassy area, there’s a lovely little “field” of wildflowers, and it was fairly quiet except the sound of birds, chipmunks and coyotes (far off) in the early morning. I would definitely recommend this site and we’ll be back again for sure! 🙂

Rick's place is magical! The woods and the property are gorgeous and quiet, save for the sounds of birds and the flickering of fireflies. While it is still very accessible to the nearby towns and villages, staying here feels like a true getaway. Rick and Marilyn are both kind and gracious hosts as well. I spent only one night here as I was on a work trip but I would without a doubt stay here again.
Beautiful site with welcoming hosts! Quiet & private spot with abundant bird song and lovely woods.
