Tent camping in the woods!
Backcountry feel
I was looking for remote camping and didn't want to get up into the WMNF - this was the perfect option and just what I was looking for. A nice cleared spot for an overnight adventure.

Agnes was very flexible when we had a last minute change of plans! She was also very communicative during the reservation process.

Tent camping in the woods!
Spot was very secluded, scenic, and lots of fun to explore. Fire pit and seating is perfectly rustic and cozy, with logging trails to roam and lots of cool trees, rocks, wildlife, and mushrooms to look at. There was a lot of easily accessible fallen wood for the campfire, so we didn’t end up needing to buy any! Site was reasonably easy to find, but you should bring a truck with at least ten inches of ground clearance or be prepared to park and walk – at around the halfway point between the road and the campsite, the road gets rough. I did fine in a RWD van.
