My parents bought this land back in the late 1960's. We lived in an old farmhouse that burnt in a fire. We grew up in the ranch styled house at 217 Proctor Rd and farmed the land now at 55 Swamp Grass Ln and 212 Proctor Rd. It is my hope to honor this land as my dad has since passed and I want to continue his legacy. Sharing this property will do that as well as supplement our income, keeping our land as undeveloped as possible. **Fireworks are legal in our town. If you see them in the near distance, it is a neighbor or people from out of town setting them off at the Proctor Rd end of our driveway.**Pitch your tent in one of Southern Maine's best kept secrets. We live in one of the areas undeveloped lands. Our property of over 20 acres is adjacent to other undeveloped properties of over 100 acres. Our close proximity to popular tourist towns makes our location a perfect getaway in seclusion while remaining close to many attractions. If you're looking to get back to nature, but remain near bustling cities, this is the perfect location for you and we would love to have you as our guest!

Campsites are nothing like the picture. Sites are littered with stumps. Quite hazardous walking.

Swamp Grass Lane Overnight Parking

Another great stay at Swampgrass! I am soo glad to have found this spot. Make sure you know what is and isn't there (ex. is=water, isn't=toilets). Knowing this, I have just had excellent stays here. I find it a terrific place to make home base while exploring the area.
