Pretty much everything was misleading. We were in her backyard, right by the road so it was super loud. The outhouse smelled awful, one of the worst smelling outhouses ever. Extremely expensive, and she's actually over an hour from Acadia and not 30 mins. Definitely do not recommend.

Thanks, Markos, for your review. I am very sorry y’all had a bad experience. In response, I am adding ventilation to the outhouse and have reviewed my listing for any misrepresentation on my part. I’m also working with Hipcamp to understand the pricing for your stay.

My only complaint is the road noise at 7 am. Probably not much can be done about it.

The site was exactly what we needed and Linda was very nice and responsive. However, we arrived after dark and were assigned camp site 2 as site 1 was already occupied. Therefore, we did not locate the outhouse until the next morning after the site 1 occupants left. So note, the out house is behind site 1 and not accessible to site 2 unless you walk through site 1. All in all, it was a lovely spot and we would definitely stay again.

A great price for the location - and for a safe and welcoming place for a few nights. Spent our days at Acadia and were thankful to have a nice place to return to. Would have liked to check out the island just a few miles away - maybe next time!

Great location and property with three campsites. Linda was graciously able to accommodate our 19’ travel trailer for boondocking overnight and met with me upon arrival to say hi and give guidance for where to setup. Thanks again!

I did not meet Linda but she was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I only stayed one night but will stay longer the next time. It was a lovely campsite and is a perfect base for visiting Acadia NP. I recommend it highly.

Linda’s place was the perfect spot for our overnight stay. We grabbed cheese and wine at the local market and got to enjoy a nice quiet evening by a fire. She was kind enough to let us borrow some paper and lighter to get the fire going, as well the wood.

Very close to Acadia National Park, which allowed us to sleep in a little longer!

Linda was very responsive and friendly!

I arrived just before dark and was able to find the water source and outhouse. The campsite was good and I would stay there again.
