Eagle View was an awesome campground. Very private and a lovely view. The outhouse was clean and the outdoor shower had hot water and amazing pressure (I never wanted to get out). They have a huge fire pit and beach access. Our dog loved swimming and running around the yard. We have been camping for the past 7 weeks and this is one of our favorite palaces we have been.
This spot is absolutely beautiful! The view is gorgeous. We got to watch bald eagles, hawks, falcons, and great blue herons fly over the bay and also land and take off from the trees directly in front of the fire pit. It was really spectacular to be that close to bald eagles. The entire tree would shake when they landed. Apart from the views and beautiful birds, having a private toilet, sink, and shower were amazing touches. The shower is lovely and HUGE, and it really does have hot water. The fire pit is massive and includes a grate for cooking and a post to hang pots from above the fire. The site is perfectly located - close enough to Bar Harbor for an easy drive to get there, but far enough to avoid all the traffic and noise of that region and still get to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Acadia region. We cannot say enough good things about this site.
Awesome stay…great secluded spot
We really enjoyed our stay here. We tent camped at the back of the property in the grass close to the harbor. It is very nice, great view. It seems to be a little warmer there than it was in other more exposed areas which was very nice. The hot shower is great. Nice fire ring and plenty of firewood in the woods around the property. We brought wood but we really didn’t need to. Raphaele was very accessible via text but we had everything to ourselves. This is a very nice area!!
Awesome views and location!
Lovely, private, and convenient to Bar Harbor, (about 30 miles) nice piece of land with an incredible view! There's also a ferry about 14 miles away that will take you to Bar Harbor. We got to see eagles flying back and forth over the water! Raphaele has just what you need there so that you're not too inconvenienced without the sewer. We were quite comfortable! Great setup if you're a dog owner. Our dog loved being able to run freely and explore! Make sure you find the trail down to the water- it's a really nice bonus to your stay!
Incredible views & accommodations
This location is a dream! Watching the tide move was a magical experience. This is definitely the coolest campsite I’ve been at. And the shower, wow, it’s on another level!!!
Best camping experience ever!
This was the best camping experience I ever had. The spot was gorgeous, the hot shower was great, I’d recommend this to everyone. It was my first time camping at a private campground, and it makes me never want to camp at a public spot again. So peaceful and well worth the visit. The host was also so helpful and responsive!
