23 acres of rolling blueberry barrens interspersed with Maine granite boulders and ledges leading down to over ~1/3 mile of private tidal beach frontage on the Salt Pond (Atlantic Ocean)!

Share the view with deer, bald eagles, wild turkeys and tons of local flora and fauna as you walk the ~1 mile road which rings the property.

There are two site options, each with their own appeal.  Both are easily accessible from the main road, but removed enough for peace. Site 1 is more removed, and is not visible from the main road. It has a more expansive blueberry field view.Site 2 is grassy and closer to the water.  The parking area and picnic table is visible from the main road, but you can pitch a tent on the lower portion beside the water which is not visible from the road.

Walk the property to get down to your own tidal cove - take a dip in the cold Atlantic if you’re brave at high tide, skim the serene Salt Pond waters in your kayak, or go clamming or fishing if you want to work for your dinner!

5 min drive from Blue Hill town center, Blue Hill Mountain (more hiking!) and its Bay (more swimming!)- 45 min drive to either Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, Holbrook Island Sanctuary, the historic Castine waterfront, or the quant fishing villages of Deer Isle and Stonington

Explore Downeast Maine away from the crowds, at the most beautiful blueberry base you'll see!

Lakeisha was incredibly hospitable, setting up this site and making sure we found everything alright. The land itself is incredibly beautiful and feels remote while remaining accessible.

Magic and tranquil. The rough and delicate landscape of Maine complimented with wonderful sounds and smells and color. I felt like I was on the edge of the Earth, with the convenience of knowing that within 3 minutes there was a YMCA and grocery store it was almost hard to believe. This place is an opportunity not to be squandered!

Strawberry moon & blueberries

The perfect weather, views, blueberries, strawberry super moon and fireflies made our trip superb! Head's up that a camper may not make it down to where the picnic table and firepit is, but it isn't far to enjoy your coffee or marshmallows at. Check out all the land trust properties around to find some quiet parts of the coast and little known ponds. Came home raving about it to our friends. Thank you Lakeisha!

Nice views, but come prepared with 4WD. Wi-Fi and service may be lost before reaching the destination, so read the host's written instructions well beforehand. If you do, finding the spot is a cinch. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The salt pond was truly perfection! It was away from the busy world in a quiet, peaceful, absolutely beautiful spot. I was really able to soak in the relaxation that you don't normally get from your typical campsite. And I cannot express enough how beautiful it was at this spot, it really made my draw drop. A wonderful added bonus is how sweet the host is. She left us a welcome pack and made sure everything was perfect for us. We were even given some excellent recommendations of what to do in the surrounding area.

Lakeisha and her father Martin were very helpful in answering our questions while preparing for the trip with quick helpful responses. We stayed at camp site 1 at Salt Pond Perfection and the name says it all. A great site on rolling hills covered in blue berries and boulders, walking distance to Salt Pond.

Gorgeous spot by the water’s edge near Blue Hill. We walked to the top of the hill amongst acres of blueberries with long distance views over the Salt Pond. Loved it. Would come back for sure. Road to site 2 needs some work but other than that almost “Perfect”.
