Description
The Machias River Corridor offers four separate camping areas right along the wild, scenic river, which are very popular for those traveling by canoe. Three of the campsites are on the banks of three separate lakes (named the First, Second, and Third Machias Lakes), and the fourth campsite is on the southern end of the park, conveniently close to the highway. Watch for wildlife including bear, moose, and many species of birds.
