Located on 4.25 Acres on a small remote island off the coast of Maine, Four Acre Woods Campground is a secluded wooded area with 12 designated camping sites. All of our sites have direct electrical and water hookups and a community bath house located on the property. Each site comes complete with a 6ft picnic table, firefit, prefilled tiki torch, and a parking spot. There is no ferry necessary to access the island. It is connected to the mainland by bridges and causeways.

Four Acre Woods was such a wonderful campground. It honestly felt magical being in those woods. We had a site with one of the canvas tents and it was the perfect size and kept us warm through the night. Wolf was an excellent host. We will definitely be back!
This campground was exactly what we were looking for, small and rustic. Wolf was extremely hospitable and gave great hiking recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again.
It was quiet and out of the way.....good place to hide from the world just what I needed
Four Acre Woods is the best camp ground we’ve come across. We stayed three nights here and wish we could have planned to stay longer. Deer Isle is a wonderful area to explore, with views every turn. Wolf wrote down a variety of recommendations on hikes, restaurants and shops. We checked out nearly all that we could that was open during the time we stayed. Wolf has an espresso shop at his Cabin, highly recommend getting a cup during your stay. We can’t wait to head back to Four Acres again.

Four Acre Woods is locates in gorgeous Deer Isle. It’s stunning and about 1.5 hours to Acadia. The campground itself has toilets and a hot shower. At night, you can actually see the Milky Way on the causeway. Wolf is incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. I would definitely recommend!
Great setup. Caleb is a great guy. Big tents, clean. Tight bathroom, realistically one a at a time. Bit close between sites but still great privacy.
Caleb was awesome. So hospitable. Anything you needed, he got it. He recommended so many amazing places to explore while we were staying there. He also checked in on us every morning and every night to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Four Acre Woods if you're going to Maine.
