Campers can choose to stay in two cabins or camp in tents. There are 2 kayaks and a canoe available for no extra charge.
The lake cabin has one double bed and a bunk bed with sweeping lake views. The forest cabin has two double beds. (There are platform beds. Bedding is not supplied.) There are five beds total, but can sleep 8 if doubles are used. These are "primitive" cabins, they are solid, warm, and dry but have no running water, insulation or electricity.
Both cabins come with the booking even if you only use one or just camp. No one else will be booked during your stay.
Tents can also be set up for extra sleeping areas.
RV parking is available on the property a short walk from the campsite. There are no water views from the parking area.
Because cabins are not heated, the season will close in November.

Very pretty property with excellent directions (key since there’s no cell service!) Well maintained trail and cabins. We stayed nice and dry during some downpours. The trail is well marked. It’s a bit of a walk to the outhouses from the forest cabin, definitely could get tricky at night. Bring a headlamp! The water was warm and great for the provided kayaks.
Beautiful remote site with plenty of space.
Amazing stay! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back! Very helpful host with quick replies and detailed instructions.
What a great spot! We saw lots of wildlife, loved the quiet.
The lake cabin was great- lovely views and comfy mats. Loved it!
Great site. Cabin has a few essentials with a great view and use of boats. Firewood all over to boot. Just be aware the hike in is not wagon-friendly, so you’ll need to bring in what you’ll use.
Absolutely amazing time! Completely remote, beautiful, and spacious area on the water. The bugs weren’t too bad, and the sights were amazing! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a few days.

My friends from college and I met up here for a little getaway after graduation and it did not disappoint! It was nice and secluded, we felt like we had the whole pond to ourselves. Our host was very kind and was there on the day of our arrival and his daughter hosted a Smores Fest for us!
The Lake cabin was awesome and created an amazing bug-free zone for us to relax as the area is very buggy at the beginning of June.
The kayaks and canoe were perfect for our group and we really enjoyed exploring the pond together. Additionally the dock was a great place for us to relax and catch some sun.
There is a ton of wild life on the lake, like a family of Geese, Loons and we even saw a Bald Eagle! It was pretty awesome!
The camp is a little difficult to find at night, we had some friends get lost so arriving while the sun is still up is key! Google Maps has the better directions opposed to Apple Maps so its definitely worth the download - using the HipCamp app for the address is also immensely helpful!
We had an amazing week at our campsite and made some incredible memories together! We will be returning for another trip later this year or next summer!
Dan has a beautiful property! The pond that its located on is large and very clean with views of a mountain in the distance. My friends and I enjoyed hanging out and using the kayaks and canoes on the property. There is a 5 minute walk through some beautiful woods to get the the site so packing light is best.

We loved our stay at the Lake Cabin. Secluded, quiet, right on the water. Clean site. Nature trails and kayaking on the pond were highlights. Hope to come again. Recommend packing light for the hike to the site but that adds to the remote and special feeling.
