Deering acres was the perfect campground for what I needed with a nice view as well! If ever in the area again, I would absolutely come back!
Beautiful views for camping!
It was a beautiful stay! Took a little work to get the camper situated as the land is sloped a bit but once we got it, it was a perfect location!
This camp was convenient for a stop between Bar Harbor and Conway, NH. The topography is pretty steep even for the picnic tables. We have a truck with camper and had to use a lot of leveler. The directions say the entrance is at the sign but actually is about 500 ft past it. Luckily, a man was working on the property and was able to direct us. This is no frills camping at best. It suited our needs but if other campers had been there, we would have had no privacy. Camps are close together and would be good for a group of tents.
Beautiful field, perfect for a group camping spot, and the best sunset of our lives.
A nice spot in a quiet town. I had data coverage on my phone (Google Fi), which was nice. Kimberly was very helpful and accommodating.
Deering Acres has absolutely stunning views and is quite peaceful despite being on a somewhat busy two lane road (traffic died out at night). Just know that though it has three sites, they aren’t clearly delineated, and there’s really only one designated site with a flat spot for a tent or car. Most of the property is on a slope, so it might be hard with multiple people at once. Also, beware of a muddy spot on the drive right before the sloped field! Still, it was all worth it because the view was lovely and we had a great time anyway. Lots of birds in the trees, too.

Yes, Josh is correct and you will all be happy to know that we have ditched, flatten and had loads of gravel hauled in to make the road better and improve the sites :) Kimberly

Shari, Yes the upper field is being used for four sites and the lower main entrance has two sites! We have worked really hard this past week to flattened the camping areas on the lower main section and have seeded with grass! We continue to place sides left on the main road but they are not ready yet but will provide better privacy! Thank You for your feedback! Kimberly
