Your spot will be under the shade of tall ancient Pines and a giant Linden tree, very close to the falls below. There is space for your car and tent. It is best to plan to arrive before dark.

If you like rushing waters you will enjoy being lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of water falling over the rocks. Take a dip in the swimming hole or just relax and read a book. Your quiet spot is off to the side of the driveway where you will have privacy on the waterfall side. We are located at the end of a dirt road out in the quiet Maine countryside. This is a tiny farm with a tiny house and loads of daylily gardens. This campsite is just above slopes covered with Lily of the Valley, small fragrant flowers that bloom in great abundance in May and June.

This is a spot with no hook-ups. You will need to be fully self contained while you enjoy being nestled into the edge of the forest. You will have room to set up your lawn chairs and feel like the space is yours.  There is hiking through forest trails, sit by the falls; there is a swimming hole below the falls; you can take the trail from the road to the waterfalls or cross the walking only bridge to explore the forest and trails on the other side.
