Lovely camp ground. I was lucky to know about hipcamp to find an affordable place to stay near Acadia last minute. Bring jugs of water and wet wipes and you are set. There is a lovely lobster food truck about 10 minutes farther down the maim road. There was a band set up and a bunch of sailboats to look at.

Archie's lobster is a great little local spot 10 minutes down the road.

Sweet camping spot close to group parking. Clean outhouse shared with other yurt campers on the site. Space was private, instructions clear. Overall great especially for the location.

Clean camp site set into a cute woodland area with a pond and stream close by. Not too buggy (early Sept).

A suitable campsite on the quite side of Mt. Desert Island. The place is a little rough around the edges, but for the location, and the price, it is fantastic. The campsite is quite close to a rental property - the tenants were cool and very nice and had some relation to the campsite manager, but when they were hanging out on their porch, we were pretty close and it wasn't super private.

Beautiful property and campsite! It rained during most of our stay so we didn’t explore the property as much as we wanted to but would definitely stay again

This was an awesome campsite set off in the woods. It has plenty of space for 2 tents and 4 people. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outhouse was very nice as well.

My only regret was arriving too late and getting an early start in the morning - there’s simply too much to do in Acadia! Cutest welcoming committee of two cats. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends.

The site was wonderful, with plenty of room for our tent. It included a table, fire pit, and compost toilet. The hosts offer bundles of firewood for purchase at the parking lot. The experience was great!
