"We were so at peace when we got here we just spent the rest of the day hanging at the yurt enjoying the peace and quiet today we are heading to the ocean!"- Jody from New Hampshire, July 2021.
"We could not have found a more idyllic place, plus it was our first experience in a yurt. We found your notes about Acadia super helpful and the yurt was just so beautiful and cozy. Having a hot bath and a little fire in the wood stove after a day of biking the Carriage Roads and swimming at Sand Beach could not have been more perfect. So glad we were at the yurt to enjoy the area and Acadia. We had an incredible stay and are hoping to come back next summer."- Jenn & Neil, August 2020.

This place was perfect for our 2 day trip to Acadia national park! It’s a good distance to the park, the space is quiet and unique, and the yurt has great amenities.
Jed's yurt was such a wonderful place for a weekend away! Highly recommend for close access to Acadia as well as a quiet spot close to everything.
It was the perfect way to start the camping season! Glamping in style!! We would recommend this place.
Awesome stay at the yurt! Enjoyed the simple style living. The propane lights were neat. Bed was very comfy! The bath was warm. Fun getting to figure out how everything worked. Would stay again : )
It was a great place to stay outside of Acadia. Yurt-keeper was really nice and helpful showing us how to manage the generator. It was clean and comfortable. We brought our own sheets/sleeping bags because I wasn't sure about the set-up, and it worked out well to have some of our own stuff. We made dinner our first night and the kitchen was stocked with most everything we needed. This place is a hidden gem. Our family really enjoyed our stay!!! Thanks!
Way nicer than the pictures. Would definitely stay here again!!
We had such a wonderful time at the Tent! We checked in and made a fire outside in the fire pit, had a bath inside with hot water and relaxed. It was cozy and made for a really nice night. We would love to go back!
The Mongolian Wall Tent was spectacular. First off: there is a heated bathtub - what better way to start or end a day exploring? The Wall Tent gets amazing, soft light in the mornings, making waking up here all the more magical. There is a porch along the far side of the Wall Tent that looks over a small clearing in the woods, and a rocking chair to sit and pass time in. The place stays very warm with the wood-powered stove. It has a full kitchen which makes cooking a breeze as well.
Staying here is an absolute luxury, can't think of a place I'd rather be while exploring this area.

Access and Convenience! The location puts you in a perfect location for trip to Mt Desert Island and Schoodic Point. Wood was provided for a fire at the site which is always a plus. The site is nestled into the woods with nice tree coverage and offers privacy that you can't find at most of the sites inside Acadia. I would certainly recommend this site for those looking to avoid the crowds of the national park.
