We are alcohol free, violence free, 420 friendly, vegetarian, and ask for the practice of celibacy to be observed by those outside of preexisting committed relationships. Celibacy is asked for at camp, and for duration of residence at camp, in order to make it a safe place for spiritual growth, healing, and higher spiritual attainments. If the idea of being somewhere without alcohol or meat or gratuitous sexual "hookups" sounds foreboding to you, we are probably not the righ place for you. Emphasis: we don't ask for celibacy from couples...just those who come unattached. Camp Satyagraha is the home of the Monastery of Last Resort, a coed, child oriented , family friendly , Spiritual Oasis. Focus and projects include child 👶 care and development, gardening, language, Dharma studies and linguistics, music 🎶 theatre 🎭 and dramatic arts, as well as hospitality and psychosocial development in general, in keeping with the Perennial Wisdom.

Aborted by nature and happenstance.
It is only fair to say because that we missed the first day of our planned two day adventure because of weather. We did notify the host by email that we were going to be late yet there was no response. So when we arrived there was no one to greet us except faded signs of a faded attempt at enterprise. If you are up for adventure of that kind, it is a place for you. Not us.

Sorry 😢 - I was overseas and I didn’t know my account was active. I am back. I have my first hip campers now . Today July 11. 2021. They are great, I didn’t plan to be open for campers this year but I may keep the ad up and get prepared for more. At least I know about it now. I had not gotten any customers initially after registering at hip camp so I forgot. My apologies again to anyone I missed 🙏🌞🕊
