“Shiva” is a renovated 1984 Avion aluminum trailer. I personally renovated this space to be functional and beautiful. Relax inside with some incense or step outside to see sweeping bayou views. Plan an all day kayak trip, fish off the dock, and enjoy a beautiful vintage trailer! You can bring your own boat and use the public boat dock next door, or enjoy our two kayaks free to guests. There are state parks and wildlife reservations nearby. Come experience “glamping” in the heart of the Louisiana Delta! This trailer is 30 feet long and 8 feet wide. It can sleep two comfortably, 3 with the futon but remember, it is a camper and even though it is a large one, it still has limited space. Shiva is equipped for full time living with a kitchen, full bathroom, storage galore, two twin beds that can convert into a full, a futon, a Smart TV, hot water, and cold AC for the Louisiana summers. There are two personal closets over the beds and six storage compartments each, as well as a full closet in the bathroom. The bathroom is roomy for an RV, it has a big vanity with storage, a full bathtub and shower with a seat, and a real toilet. The kitchen is stocked and functional for cooking; it has a gas stove, residential fridge, convection oven, griddle, coffee maker, microwave, air fryer, double sink, and huge pantry. The trailer sits on a gravel pad beside my family home on the bayou. There is a private dock and kayaks for exploring the many miles of water around the island. This bayou is known to have one of the greatest diversities of fish species in the south and fishing competitions are held weekly in the summer. The public boat dock is a half mile down the road for your big fishing boats. There are many other hot fishing spots within an hours drive. Welcome to “Sportsman’s Paradise!”
