RV Sites w/50amp, full hookups
I found no host to meet. But Kathleen was rude and short up on arrival. Our trailer with truck would not fit in site assigned. Moved us to new site. Motorcycles left at 5:30 am on Tuesday June 7th. Just very disappointed.

When I book online I put in the size of our 5th wheel. Was disappointed we didn’t really fit! Our view were two dumpsters. Those could be moved. Everyone is on top of each other here. A few pluses were they had a washing machine and it’s nice riding on our motorcycle also it’s clean. AJ who works here was very helpful.

We enjoyed our time in Shell. Tiny town, but a lot of great people. The RV park is well appointed with a super clean bathroom and coin laundry room. The grass under the shade trees is a great spot to relax at the end of the day. Nice breeze off of the field and canal behind the park. The sites are a little close together, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Be sure to stop in to the store and have an ice cream sandwich. They are delicious.

The sites were small. So small that we had to park by the office instead of our campsite. Campsite was level, but very tight. We couldn’t use our awning. It made it hard to hookup and leave. We only have a 28’ trailer.
The daily watering the lawn made the mosquitos a problem anytime of day.
The price was very reasonable!!
The Old Store was a short walk away with great burgers!

We enjoyed our stay at the Shell Campground. As the t-shirt reads, "Shell is big in nature, small in people". There were large lawn areas with chairs and fire pits and outdoor games for our use. The setting is lovely at the base of the Big Horns. The hosts were very available and friendly. Communications were great. Be aware that the campground is small so space is tight. We were fortunate to be near one end of the campground so we had ample room on one side, but we were right next to an rv on the other side. The hookups are dual, and were not close to our utility center. You may want an extra length of hose for your black/gray tanks. There were also not individual fire pits or picnic tables at each site. Vehicles are parked in a parking area nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and loved being so close to the Big Horn mountains. Just be aware that space is tight.

Would have been a nice campsite if at any other site than 2. Guy in site 1 is long term camper. Never shuts up.

Great spot to be close to the Shell Falls. WiFi works from the campsite. Free showers. Showers are small. Nice open area for the dogs to run around. We were bummed how small the sites are so be prepared to unhook and park your vehicle in a different area. Shared water faucet with neighbor. We were in a hurry to check out since on the Hipcamp site and email states check out is at 11am, it’s actually 10am.

Kevin and Emily have a wonderful couple taking care of guests. Don and Alyssa (I think I have her name wrong). We are new to the RV world and they were so kind and helpful. We didn’t even have to ask, they could tell we were bewildered and overwhelmed and immediately assessed the situation and stepped in to help.
Simply put a wonderful RV site and a wonderful couple looking out for everyone- did I mention it was pouring rain?

This is a beautiful RV site in the tiniest town! Population 83 with a cute general store and two restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful, super friendly and accommodating staff, clean showers and restrooms + nice little dog walking path right off the property. Great pit stop for your next road trip! Definitely recommend.

We loved it! We were there for a mule deer hunting trip- the location was ideal! The hosts and other guests were all so friendly! Exactly what we had hoped for- hope to return in the future!

The owner met us in person, even with our late arrival, to see that we got settled alright. The property has showers (no coins needed) that are accessed with a code. There is WiFi! We used the communal fire pit to make our dinner. The property was very quiet at night with friendly guests in the daytime as we got to chat with a few. The location of this property is in the town of Shell, which does not offer much services to travelers. We enjoyed the proximity to the Bighorn Mountains! Will stay again.
