Winging it in wyoming.
The most beautiful, quiet and serene place to stay close to the interstate for the long drives. We set up our tent outside the beautiful Airbnb that Matt and his family own and run, which has fascinating history. An 1800’s sheep farm passed on for generations, and sold by the 1900’s. The farmhouse was built in the early 1900’s and Matt and his family have the entire lineage. With over 450 acres to roam, we set up our tent with views of the rolling hills as well as next to the old fashion wagon buggy. I would recommend tenting here because it’s impeccable and clean and quiet, but we also got to tour the BnB and I would equally recommend it!

Winging it in wyoming.
This camp was heaven! We had a long day of driving without internet service and when we finally got service they were the only ones close enough to book online. With only 45 minutes notices they contacted us right away and accommodated us with the utmost hospitality. The farm is the prime example of what hipcamp is. Kind families with extra space to share. They welcomed us into their home to use their toilet and shower (much needed after our 2 days of driving). We had running water from the pump and soft grass to sleep on in our tent. Before we settled the lovely lady gave us a tour of their beautiful 100-year-old home. They even let us borrow their stove! We met the best people and it was a bummer we didn't stay longer just to get to know these kind souls.
