Wyoming Wilderness, Wired for Comfort! Trade the crowded campground for real Wyoming wilderness — without giving up the comforts that make camping easy. This basecamp pairs electric and water hookups with wide-open views, so you can settle in for the night without sacrificing convenience. Wake up to canyon air and big sky, with direct access to the canyon below right from your site — step out your door and start exploring, no drive required. Spend your days hiking the terrain at your own pace, and your evenings soaking in the kind of quiet you only find out here. You're also close enough to Keyhole State Park and the town of Moorcroft to make day trips easy, while still coming home to a site that feels like your own private stretch of Wyoming. This is a place built for slowing down: mornings with coffee and open views, afternoons exploring on foot, and nights where the stars actually show up. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with a full crew, there's space here to spread out and make it your own. Please note: This is a bare campsite with hookups only — there is no cabin, shelter, or host-provided gear on site. You'll need to bring your own RV and/or tent, bedding, cookware, food, and supplies. The Space: Room for RVs up to 45', plus additional tents for extra guests Direct, on-site access to the canyon below for hiking and exploring Open, uncrowded surroundings with plenty of room to relax outdoors Family-friendly setup, ideal for multi-generational trips or larger groups needing extra tent space A true basecamp for exploring the wider region at your own paceAbout This Site: Bring your RV and tent, and settle into this slice of Wyoming beauty. The site sits on a natural land peninsula surrounded on three sides by open landscape — no shared walls, no neighbors on top of you, just wide sky and quiet. Pull your rig onto the gravel pad, hook up to full utilities (water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electric), and pitch a tent alongside for extra crew. In the evenings, wind down around the fire pit under a blanket of Wyoming stars, or grab a photo from the scenic swing overlooking the canyon. Devils Tower is just 30 miles away, making this an easy basecamp for the real Wyoming experience. You'll have access to the entire RV space for the length of your stay. Pack In, Pack Out — Wyoming Style: We proudly follow Wyoming's pack in, pack out ethic: everything you bring — gear, food, and trash — leaves with you when you go. There are no trash cans on site by design, which helps keep the land pristine for the next guests and the wildlife that calls it home. It's the Wyoming way, and we love you for it. Sharing the Land with Wildlife: You're camping in true Wyoming wilderness, and the locals don't all walk on two legs. Northeastern Wyoming is home to white-tailed and mule deer, coyotes, rattlesnakes, and the occasional black bear passing through. Here's how to share their home respectfully and safely: Store all food, trash, and scented items securely in your RV or a sealed container — never leave them out overnight. Keep pets leashed and supervised, especially at dawn and dusk. Watch your step around rocks, brush, and tall grass — rattlesnakes are common in warm months. If you encounter a coyote, make yourself look large and make noise; they'll move on. Never approach or feed any wildlife, no matter how friendly they seem. You're welcome to gather firewood from the surrounding wooded areas, as long as you don't damage the property. Safety Disclaimer: Guests use the property and outdoor areas at their own risk. Hosts are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occur on the property. Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the fire pit and canyon edges. One More Thing! We also have a second listing on the same property— Canyon Hideout at Devils Tower. It's a full cabin rental with an additional RV site/ full hookup, separate from this one but just a short trip down the laneway. Same land, independently bookable. If you're traveling with others, want an indoor option alongside your campsite, or simply want more space, it's worth a look — search "Canyon Hideout at Devils Tower" on Airbnb/VRBO to check availability or www.hiddenwonderretreats.com.
