A quiet peaceful woodland 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin with access right around the corner to the Wisconsin Ice Age trail. Right down the road is a farm with longhorn steer cows, great Inta photo opportunity and farm fresh eggs. The town of Hancock is just 10 miles away with grocery store, hardware shop, laundromat and restaurants. Even better is Coloma with a bread bar, yoga studio, chocolatier, ice creamery, farm stand; Cafe with ginormous pancakes.Come enjoy our Quiet cabin right on the historic Wisconsin Ice Age Trail halfway point. Our space is Welcoming to Mellow and Chill Unglamorous people looking for a peaceful vibe. The 2 bedroom cabin is surrounded by Pines and Oaks that rustle and whistle in the cool breeze. Right down the road is a farm with longhorn steer cows, a great Insta photo opportunity! Right around the corner you can buy fresh free range eggs. We are a literal very short walk to the Ice Age Trail off a dead end road so there is no traffic or busyness outside of the locals as most of our area has full time residents. We are perfect for people who want to hike the trail and return to a cabin with luxe touches and have a nice shower. We have ample parking with a horseshoe driveway. Our 2 bedroom cabin has rustic touches and has no Fancypants. We have a small galley style kitchen with an apartment sized refrigerator with a freezer and sink, keurig for coffee, electric pot, toaster oven, air fryer, plug in one burner electric cooktop, and basic cookware with beautiful handmade pottery dishware. We are stoveless. Our small bathroom has a new shower, not new rusty lookin ceramic toilet that works great according to plumber Mike although you really have to push the flusher on the side and new laundry tub sink. Finished with reclaimed wood. Speaking of wood, there currently are NO FIRES allowed at all due to high fire danger. We just had an 800 acre wildfire that burned people's homes nearby caused by humans so we are not allowing any fires of any kind and that includes candles, fireworks or grills.  The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with baseboard heat. We have an extra futon mattress on the full bed so if you like a firmer bed just sleep on top of it all. You make the beds, clean linens provided. Guests can dine outside on the 20x10 Amish built covered porch. Do some yoga and meditate in the sun porch. We also have high speed wifi with a roku TV and games to play. We have ceiling fans throughout and brand new windows. There's also a roof vent fan that can be used for a few hours at a time. Some things are still a work in progress, including the bedrooms permanent flooring. Thus, the price has a bit lower this year. All guests are expected to take their trash away with them, put used sheets and pillowcases in the 3 season porch basket and leave the cabin as they found it, ready for the next guests.  Yes there are small Woodland creatures and various bugs, some of which freeload in the cabin that guests will need to deal with. All part of #countrylife! Refunds not given for this as they weren't invited or there when we cleaned. You may find some food and beverages in the kitchen fridge that you are free to use. The owner uses the small fridge and has stuff of 0 value in the bedroom closet that's locked up. Absolutely no parties or events, we have many full time neighbors nearby who prefer the peace. Please refrain from playing music outside or loudly, preferably not at all so you can enjoy the crickets and sounds of nature.  We use cameras at the doors to monitor the property. We could care less about monitoring guests but it's a necessary security measure due to the rural location. We get alerts for excessive noise using a noise monitor. Disabling or covering the camera will result in a call to the sheriff to investigate so this is non-negotiable in renting. If you are not comfortable with that we offer flexible cancellation.

Comfy cabin
Super cute, clean, comfortable and pastoral cabin situated next to the Ice Age Trail. My daughter was hiking the trail so it was perfect to be along the trail with all the creature comforts of a hot shower, comfy beds and bedding, and at the halfway point. Sue was very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Woodsy Cabin
Her property was set up with a firepit. She lived very close to the start of one section of the Ice Age Trail.

Woodsy Ice Age Trail cabin
Sue’s cabin was so nice and the nature scenery was very peaceful and quiet! There were several books and a puzzle to keep us entertained, as well as a tv. The cafe down the road had very great food. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I hope to make another trip soon!!

This cabin is so cute and cozy! We loved all the national park theme paintings throughout the rooms + the hosts collection of handmade ceramics! Will absolutely be revisiting the next time we're in the area!
