WHY Overview 120v
Afton was incredibly hospitable, the site had tons of excellent features and in a breathtakingly beautiful landscape! Only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. 10/10

WHY Tent
I loved camping at WHY! Afton was an amazingly helpful and communicative host. She lent me a hammock and electric blanket, ran an extension cord to my campsite, made me a sandwich, and started and maintained a fire. Above all though, she was incredibly kind and honest, and generously shared parts of her life and story. I can truly see her intetion of making WHY a healing space shine through and can't recommend her enough as a host.

The site was private. We had all the spot to our selves. We had rain and windy weather that day. Hostess had other equipment that she offered to keep us warm and safe.

Doesn't get much better
This couldn't have been any more perfect! Afton was awesome, she provided extra lighting, tiki torches, a cool outdoor bath option, and even gave us extra wood! She was one of the best hosts ever, and her property is great! I already looked for another weekend to bring my girlfriend out so we can go back to Crystal Lake and Devils Lake, both very close to the site. I loved this site and the privacy!

Perfect secluded get away
Afton was a fantastic host and really made us feel at home. She has an excellent off the beaten path site with great amenities. We met up with another friend to camp in seclusion and enjoy the area, and this was a perfect spot. Afton took very good care of us, ran electric cables, and was very flexible in how we setup our RV and friends travel trailer. Will definitely come back when in the area or traveling through!

Spacious camping in peaceful nature
Beautiful, spacious sites in the driftless region of Wisconsin. Afton lives on property and takes care of every need —even before you realize you need it. While at the same time gives you all the privacy and space you want/need. She is an amazing host. I have to admit that the nature bath sounded a bit weird, but it was so relaxing and wonderful- very private. Bring a bag of epsom salts with you for an even better soak. We came with a 25’ foot microlite camper and had to add most of our leveling blocks to get camper level, but we’ve had to do that at many campgrounds so not a negative, just be prepared. The area is beautiful with rolling hills, lots of Amish and many places to hike and explore. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the “parking lots “ that many rv campgrounds have become. We brought our two dogs with us and our dogs and there was no issue between them and Aftons animals. The cell coverage is sporadic, but perfect if you are really looking to get AWAY. Cell coverage in that entire area is sporadic (not just the property). The ONLY thing that could have been an issue was the incline to get up to the property. If the ground would have been wet or slippery there would have been no way for us to get up the hill with our truck and camper. Love this place and will DEFINITELY be back!!!! Thank you Afton for a wonderful long weekend!!!
