We are located near the famous Gays Mills Apple Orchards. We have trout streams nearby, biking the back country roads, canoeing nearby, Mississippi River 7 miles from us, Historic sites to visit, like Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien, Pikes Peak and Effigy Mounds. We are in the Ocooch Mountains, so whether you are in the hills or valleys, you are always surrounded by the beauty that nature provides. We have a treehouse on our property that we rent out and offer the use of an updated outhouse that has been here for decades. We also provide an outdoor shower. The treehouse has a small Keurig, toaster and microwave. We have a 36 inch Blackstone griddle on our large deck for your cooking needs. Please wander over this way and enjoy what Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Area has to offer. You can bring your own towels, bedding, pillows, etc., but if you forget or don’t have room, I have some all ready for you to use when you come. Just let me know and I will bring it to you or let me know ahead of time and I will have it in the treehouse for you.The treehouse sleeps 4, but the yard has room for a tent and has a fire pit. The treehouse deck is huge and has an amazing view. There is a Blackstone grill on the deck and the treehouse has a toaster, keurig, small fridge, microwave and a television. We have a path on the farm for walking or running and ATV roads right out our driveway. The treehouse is on our property, but surrounded by trees, so offers privacy from the road. Please feel free to roam our property. This is the Driftless Area in Southwest Wisconsin and also full of Native American history.

Relaxing family glamping

My family loved staying in Carolyn’s treehouse. The kids (5 & 7) didn’t want to leave! Her property is very pretty and well-maintained. She has a big sunny yard to run around in, and there’s play equipment in the shade under the treehouse. There’s a walking path through the cornfield. Carolyn was very friendly and took the boys for a ride in her Polaris. The treehouse is air conditioned. The kids loved playing in the loft area. The composting toilet is surprisingly pleasant to use. I loved the outdoor shower.

Shiloh Farms Treehouse

Carolyn’s treehouse was stunning and a perfect getaway for my kids and I! The indoor space was clean, cozy, and welcoming. There was wifi, a TV, small fridge, and microwave to prepare food - and a Blackstone outside! The outdoor space was absolutely beautiful! My kids really enjoyed the slide, swings, and slack lines below the treehouse, and there was firewood for an evening fire. The large deck was perfect for watching the Perseid meteor shower, and we even lucked out and saw the northern lights! The outhouse was clean and well-stocked, and I loved the outdoor shower. Our hosts were warm and welcoming! We can’t wait to stay again, thanks!

What a fun place to stay. Carolyn was a wonderful host, she even gave us a tour of their farm. We had a great time and will definitely be back next time we're in the area. Thanks Carolyn!

Shiloh Farms Treehouse

Had such a nice visit! We stayed several nights and could have happily stayed more. Carolyn was super friendly and went above and beyond for us. Even with a bit of bad weather the treehouse was a great place to stay. One highlight was cooking on the outdoor flat top with a view of cornfields and beyond.

Shiloh Farms Treehouse

We had a lovely time. The tree house is located in a beautiful spot and was a great place to unwind. We slept like babies and woke up to some yummy cinnamon rolls that were left by our host. Lola is pretty darn cute too!

Beautiful Farm Getaway

We give Shiloh Farms Treehouse two thumbs way up! The cabin is cozy and accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. It was just the right blend of camping+very nice, simple amenities. The outdoor eating area was lovely; shaded by the pines and a beautiful view over the valley. Our kids SO enjoyed the slide off the deck, the “pirate look out” and all the activities set up under the deck! We enjoyed a tour of the property by Carolyn on their Gator, and also walking the paths and gathering wild blackberries. It was the perfect end of summer getaway; a peaceful country stay before ramping up for the school year! We highly recommend!
