Beautiful level site, the pond was breath taking. Rick and his wife were super kind, and Duffy the caretaker Collie stopped by every day to for a pet and a talk.

Wonderful trip. Beautiful, easy to back into site. Nice sized fire pit, available kayaks and boats. Right on the water, next to a nice hiking trail. Hosts were very friendly and a very friendly well behaved dog to boot. Very relaxing, better than what we could have hoped for.

The property is absolutely amazing!
Unfortunately we were unable to camp... our RV broke down less than a mile away.
We did spe.d some time relaxing at the property waiting on the RV but didn't get to sleep there.
Very nice hosts offered a ride late at night after RV got towed.

Rick's lot is beautiful. It's set right on the pond and it feels very private. Very easy to get into (although I recommend you show up when it's light out - don't be like us). This is definitely a place we'd come to again!

We loved camping at Rick's place. He was very friendly and helpful. He periodically checked in which was nice. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the mill pond. Access for kayaks right by site. Short walk past the dam is the entrance to the forest which has awesome trails. We will definetely camp here again. Al and Becca

Absolutely loved it!! He has the cutest dog. You have privacy a park to walk to a lake to fish on and he is super nice. A ton of things to do within walking distance and did I mention kayaks and a paddle boat! My kids had such a great time! Thank you so much we will definitely be back

My wife and I loved our trip to Glenbeulah and this spot by the Mill Pond. The hosts of the place are very friendly people. I only wish there were some inlet for our portable tank to dump grey water, but a few miles away is a campground where the tanks can be emptied. We spent 3 nights there, riding our bikes around, fishing, kayaking, and spending time on the pond in a pedal boat, evenings by the fire pit. Kayaks and pedal boats are on site. Great memories:)

We had the most peaceful weekend at this beautiful campsite under a canopy of trees, beside a quiet pond. The setting was serene and relaxing—exactly what we needed to unwind. Rick and Lynn were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, and the sweetest, fluffiest camp dog you'll ever meet, Duffy, was an unexpected bonus. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the waterfront campsite near Road America. We fished, made use of the paddle boat, and did a short hike in the Kettle.
Rick was a great host answering questions, making suggestions, and even helped try to fix our furnace.

This is an absolutely beautiful spot next to a lovely pond. Very level, water and electric. Rick and Lynn were extremely gracious hosts. Our pup and theirs got along famously!

The host was amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area. The site was really nice. I didn't fish but saw others catching nice fish. Beautiful area. I spent my time biking and hiking.

First off it’s in a great location being very close to Plymouth(Cheese Capital)and not far at all to Sheboygan and Lake Michigan. Also Road America Race Track is like 10 mins away and there were races there the weekend I was there. The site itself is on a very scenic pond with a dam so you can hear the rushing water to possibly fall asleep to. My dog also really enjoyed retrieving in the pond or just taking swims. Duffy is a friendly dog who my dog Ruger played with tons. Rick and his wife are really nice people and Rick can give recommendations on just about everything. So, while it’s probably not the most private site, it’s still very nice and worth it if you have an RV. I think the value can’t be beat. Be prepared for mosquitoes!

We enjoyed a lovely stay! The property is stunning and Rick sent suggestions for activities in the area! The farmers market in Elkhart was lovely. Our daughter had a blast and adored their dog Duffy! We definitely plan to be back!

Rick made it super easy to find. Getting settled in was a breeze! I just couldn't get over how beautiful the views we're! Their dog Duffy is super friendly! The hiking trails, the peaceful views, the fishing,... Everything was perfect!!! Rick and his wife were super friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. This is our first Hipcamp "trial"' & we couldn't have asked for a better place for a relaxing weekend!! We will definitely be back!!

Camping along Mill Pond

Rick and his wife were super nice...not the least bit intrusive but offered help should we need any, and gave us tips for activities and restaurants in the area. Their beautiful collie, Duffy, was a most welcome visitor to our set-up. The camp site sits at the side of their property on the shores of Mill Pond. You can hear water running over the small dam, see geese landing on the water and cranes soaring overhead. It was quiet and peaceful at night. Our hosts provided both hot and cold running water and electric hook-ups. There was a canoe and kayak for our use as well, altho we didn't use them. This site is adjacent to a small municipal walkway over the same, which has stone benches overlooking Mill Pond. During the day occasional fishermen and bird watchers would come for a short time. This small town is in the heart of the Kettle Moraine North State Park, and every country road is prettier than the last.

My husband, daughter and I stayed 2 nights at Rick & Lynn's beautiful property. We could not have asked for kinder more welcoming people. They are both very attentive yet non-intrusive. There place is so cute! Access to hiking trails, fishing, kayaking and paddle boat was awesome! They supplied firewood for a lovely fire was very much appreciated. Their dog Duffy was a fantastic bonus. He's so sweet just like his owners. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful slice of Heaven with us. We would love to return again soon!

We were in town for a race at Road America which was a short drive from the campsite. The site was clean and level, and Rick has it set up with a paddle boat and kayak, a nice firepit (he provided the wood!), and a table with chairs for dining. He came by a couple of times with our new friend Duffy the dog to check to see if we needed anything, provided some dining recommendations (we loved the chicken sandwich at Fudgies), and directed us to a dump station about 4 miles away. Wish we could have stayed longer but definitely will come back if we make it back for another race!

This place is AMAZING! Quiet, clean and close to everything you could need. Rick and his wife are incredible hosts that obviously care that their guests have the most fun on their stay. Kayaks, fire pit, bbq. Weenie roaster sticks you name it, it’s there! The fishing on millpond was GREAT!! I’m definitely coming back multiple times a year

We loved camping on Rick’s land. He had everything ready for us and communicated clear directions and information about the site. We were able to just back in, plug in to 30amp power and hook up the hose which had great pressure. We also appreciated the Wi-Fi access. Even though you aren’t far from Rick’s house, our camper door faced the pond and we felt like we had the place to ourselves- other than the occasional locals who like to fish at the pond. It was beautifully shaded so even though it was hot, we could comfortably to sit outside and enjoy nature. There was plenty of nearby trails and space to walk our dogs. Rick’s dog was so sweet and was an excellent co-host to our 2 dogs! The pond was a little murky due to lack of rain, but didn’t stop our dogs from cooling off in it! We just made use of the great water pressure and our outside shower nozzle to hose them off! We were not far from places if we needed groceries, etc. Rick shared info about local events that were going on which we would have missed out on!
There was firewood and a fire pit available , plus seating around it. There was also a table and 2 chairs to eat at or play games on!
We even took the paddle boat out for a spin! We would absolutely come back and stay at Rick’s when we are in the area again.
