The Shack-rustic cabin
Above and beyond - peaceful, unique
This was our 2nd HipCamp stay out in the driftless area. Our first was at Healing Hills near Hillboro, who recently won a Best Of award. Honestly, this place could give it a run for it's money! The Rustic Cabin was fantastic and unique, as well as the property. They had the nicest outhouse we've ever used. They even had a little hand washing station set up. Hosts were friendly and responsive. They've got some very friendly cats and a goofy little turkey that is also very friendly (and reminds me of the pew pew noises from Galactica when you pet it). I could probably go on forever about this place, but I'll wrap it up by saying if you're considering it - book it. It's lovely!

Peace in the Valley-Larry's Loft
Great Hosts! Amazing, secluded, spot. I saw the Milky Way the night I was there. They bent over backwards to accommodate my last minute and late night booking.

Peace in the Valley-Larry's Loft
We had a wonderful time at Jessi’s farm. We decided to sleep in a tent outside of Larry’s so that we could get a glimpse of the late setting sun and shiny stars. Both Jessi and her husband were kind and welcoming, they even encouraged us to take fresh eggs from their chicken coop. We really enjoyed our stay and sightseeing throughout the region.
