We loved camping on Leon's land. It is the perfect spot for camping with dogs. Secluded, plenty of space and a great lake view. Very clean, plenty off firewood - great host!

Loved tent camping at site 3. Beautiful views and tranquility- exactly what a soul needs in this crazy hectic world to reconnect with nature. Flat land and plenty of fire wood. We will be back!

Great tent camping, peaceful!

We spent 2 nights (tent camping) at Site 3 and loved it. A perfect getaway from the city. There is some road noise that can be heard, but aside from that it is extremely private and quite peaceful. The natural prairie with trails was a great activity to walk through (tons of butterflies!). Host was very responsive. Firewood was provided (thank you!). Will definitely return, this is such a gem of a place.

Stayed at site 1, beautiful, clean, and secluded. A little tight getting up with my full size van and teardrop, but just enough room on the trail up to make it work. Definitely planning on returning.

The views at Leon's campground were wonderful! We were really pleased with the amount of space we had. The land was well cared for and free of weeds. I highly recommend staying here for tent camping in the area.

Tent Camping at Leon's was excellent. Firewood was readily available, and sites were spacious and remote from each other. Definitely would camp here again.

Had a fantastic time at Leon's Lakeview Campground. Site 1 was absolutely perfect — stunning views of both the sunrise and sunset. Wouldn't change a thing. Leon was incredibly responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and are already planning to come back

Airshow Hide Out

Stayed here twice now. This last time we came to the area for the EAA AirVenture Airshow in Oshkosh, directly across Lake Winnebago from this spot. It’s a very nice, well kept property, in a private setting. An easy and pleasant 40 minute drive to the Airport in Oshkosh…close enough to be convenient, far enough to escape the crush of the pre/post-show crowds. Great views of the lake and the surrounding farm land. As a bonus there are good several restaurants (Gobbler’s Knob Supper Club) and coffee (Mudd River Coffee) relatively close by. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place! Leon was very responsive and quick to respond to our needs. Make sure to take time to walk the trails! So peaceful. We stayed at Site 3. It was very private. A barred owl was curious about us and stared at us for awhile. I would definitely stay here again should I be in the area.

Perfect,even for a late fall getaway. Location is amazing, plenty of room for the pups to explore and Leon is an awesome host. Been here before to camp site #2 and camp site #1 is amazing as well. We walked back to #3 and it's great too. So nice to have the walking trail all the way around. Thanks Leon!

Beautiful lake views over the farmland and a private spot. The other two campsites were even more private. Great to have firewood and a fire ring supplied for us and the port-a-potty was very convenient.

Beautiful property with nice sweeping views of the lake especially from sites 1&2. This is that rare booking where the pictures actually undersell just how private each of the 3 spots are. Stopped in for a one night transitory stay and ended up booking a future stay on the spot. Highly recommend.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this incredible private campground multiple times, and every stay has been absolutely perfect! Each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The peace and privacy this campground offers are unmatched, creating the perfect retreat from the busy world. The stunning view of the lake is breathtaking, and the starry nights are something I look forward to every time. It’s rare to find a place where you can truly unwind, and this campground delivers that in spades. The fact that firewood is included just adds to the thoughtful, well-maintained atmosphere that the owners clearly care so much about. Every visit, I’ve been impressed with how clean and well-kept the grounds are. It’s evident that the owners are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience, and their attention to detail is apparent in every corner of the campground. If you’re looking for a serene and beautiful place to enjoy nature, this is the spot. I can’t recommend it enough and will surely be back for many more trips!

Magnificent Prairie!

I loved my stay here. Leon set out some orange cones so the entry was easy to find. Once here, I was astonished at the incredible restored Prairie! Both the overall size and diversity of plants was simply amazing. It's worth coming here just to see this. He has mowed nice paths all around it. Campsite 2 where I stayed has a beautiful view of the lake so it's very sunny in the afternoon and shady in the morning. It felt quiet, remote and peaceful. Leon kept in touch to make sure everything was ok. I loved my stay here.

Can’t Beat This Spot!

This campsite was bar none the BEST campsite and camping experience we have ever had! The privacy, space, view, and amenities provided were so far beyond what we had anticipated. Leon was a fabulous host and terrific with his communication and suggested local area activities, restaurants, and even a beautiful walking path on the property. Our dogs had an absolute field day (literally) with the area to which they could run and explore. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great experience start to finish. Leon is an awesome host! Made sure we had clear directions and checked in to make sure we were enjoying the stay The location (site 2) was great. Plenty of room, firewood, shade and freshly mowed grass Beautiful sunsets and best view of the lake Absolutely recommend this host and site. We look forward to returning
