Kettle Heart Campsite
This is a lovely little Hipcamp! We could tell how much heart has gone into creating this site, and greatly appreciated the provided Igloo of cold water, free bundle of firewood, solar fairy lights and grassy meandering walking paths. The only thing that made this a less than perfect stay is the loud country music and partying we heard until 1am from maybe a mile east.

Mackinzi's land was absolutely perfect for us! We arrived later than planned so it was already dark and pretty rainy, but everything was very clearly labeled and the paths were appropriately lit. Everything was really well set up, and the outhouse was a nice touch. Would absolutely return!

Kettle Heart Campsite
Peaceful and private
I tent camped on Mackinzi’s land for 2 nights this weekend and really enjoyed the location. Despite her home being on the property, the campsite is far enough away to still feel private. There were several appreciated touches - solar lights lining the path, the fairy lights by the swing, and the provided water, firewood, & camp toilet (although I didn’t use any of those things, still nice to have access to!). The ONLY downside, and it’s a small one, is that the campground for Long Lake across the road was a little noisy on Saturday night between 10pm and midnight. I so enjoyed my stay, and hope to go back since I live only about 30 minutes away.

Nice a peaceful overnight camp
A once campsite location far enought away from the world but just close enought nice and peaceful will camp again here nice added touch is the water and bathroom this allowed me to camp lighter as I did not have to bring those for the trip and nice camp chair I did not have to bring mine very nice.

Kettle Heart Campsite
The campsite had a wonderful layout with easy access to parking spot, toilet and water, and fire pit. We particularly enjoyed sitting under the stars with a couple of adult beverages. It was a bit buggy at nighttime, so be sure to bring bug spray. Mackinzi’s communications were great and highly appreciated.

MacKenzi has a nice area to pitch tent with a big fire ring. Loved the tree swing and lights. She also provided water and a toilet...nice touch!

Kettle Heart Campsite
Sweet little campsite right outside of Long Lake State Park. The site is in the yard of the residence, but there was still plenty of privacy. The storage bin, as well as the cart and table provided were super helpful during our stay. The land is beautiful with small walking trails (and duck and chicken friends too!).

Kettle Heart Campsite
Loved staying here for the night! The firepit kept us warm on a chilly October evening, and the tent site was nicely secluded with charming foot paths through the tall grass. Really appreciated the kindling, firewood and newspaper provided to get the fire going. Only not so positive thing to note - watch your step for dog droppings and pick up after your dog if you bring 'em with you - it's everywhere!

Kettle Heart Campsite
We enjoyed our stay here with our two young boys. Great big firepit, fun little paths through the brush to explore, and ducks/chickens to meet. :) The site was set up as expected and we appreciated the wagon and firewood.

I had a really great stay! The location is gorgeous and very quiet at night (besides an owl and some coyotes in the distance!). I would definitely recommend staying at this spot.

Serene, beautiful, PERFECT
Kettle Heart Campsite is a must! Mackinzi was very responsive and the campsite is absolutely beautiful with many little pretty surprises when it gets dark. Her instructions are clear and there is a nice little bin with extra supplies if needed.
We loved this site and would love to go back soon!!

Quiet, gorgeous getaway!
Host was super accomodating and has an incredibly pretty spot. A real gem for those who want the Wisconsin woods without the campgrounds! Highly recommend.
