Nestled on the picturesque shores of Prairie Lake in Chetek, Wisconsin, the resort features 15 cozy cabins, three of which are available for year-round enjoyment. During the summer months, Chetek transforms into a vibrant hub, boasting delightful “mom and pop” shops and a variety of eateries and bars, many of which are accessible by water. Guests can explore six different lakes, perfect for fishing enthusiasts seeking crappie, panfish, walleye, bass, and northern pike. Water activities abound, including tubing, jet skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. The area also hosts numerous local events throughout the summer, along with a nostalgic drive-in movie theater. In winter, the resort becomes a snowy paradise, conveniently located on the snowmobile trail. Ice fishing is a popular pastime on the lakes, and visitors can partake in various winter activities nearby. Christie Mountain, a ski and tubing destination, is just a short 35-minute drive northeast.
