We’ve reduced the number of campsites at Beaver Haven from 12 to 4 to create a more peaceful and spacious experience for everyone. You’re guaranteed a spot by the creek, and each site can accommodate two to three tents ⭐️.
If we are full on your selected dates and you'd like to camp away from the creek or hike in to Rainbow Ridge for a more rugged experience, just let us know and we can open up a spot for you.

Intimate setting at the back of Bluebird Meadow. Perfect for larger and livelier groups, as well as spiritual retreats. These sites are not located on Weister Creek, but you are still welcome to explore the creek on foot.
🛻 ACCESSIBLE BY AWD/4WD VEHICLE ONLY, OR A FIVE MINUTE WALK FROM THE MAIN PARKING AREA 🎒.
Campsites and dirt/grass access road are on a slight slope, not completely flat ground.
Please note that you will pass the sacred site where our parents and brother were laid to rest on the way up to The Frond. Many campers like to visit and pay their respects there, leave a stone, or draw a picture. It's a peaceful place full of wind chimes and love!

Flutterby Farm is a tranquil retreat perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and soak in nature's beauty. Visitors appreciate the peaceful surroundings, punctuated by the sounds of a babbling brook, the gentle clop of Amish horse buggies, and the occasional bleat of sheep. The campsite offers privacy and well-maintained grounds, making it a favored spot for both solo and family campers. The addition of locally crafted gelato and access to fresh spring water enhances the overall experience, drawing campers back for repeat visits.
Our group had a wonderful time at Flutterby. The arrival instructions were very clear and the site is beautiful and feels very secluded. We really enjoyed the gelato too! In late September, there were little to no bugs (except non-biting flies in the afternoon hours).
This is a BEAUTIFUL property to stay. The host was so friendly, the land is incredibly beautiful and we loved being able to see and hear the sheep and chickens. Our stay was in early September and it was absolutely perfect. The surrounding area has amish stores and bakeries, tons of hikes and we would love to visit again next year.
The Frond was a beautiful secluded spot and just what I needed to get away from my regular busy life. I can’t wait to make another visit back and make more memories. Thank you for sharing your haven with us.
Camping back in the Frond was perfect! It was secluded and private. But we also got to explore up rainbow ridge and check out the stream closer to the heart of the property. 10/10 hipcamp spot. The hosts are very sweet and generous. Everything you look for in a hipcamp was right here!
We had an awesome time in our spot at Beaver Haven! We'll maintained land and very friendly owners/hosts. Logan helped us find a great spot to spend the weekend. Highly recommended!
We’ve visited this really special spot a few times over the years and it’s always a treat! Peaceful, beautiful, and cozy. Tai greeted us upon arrival and we loved getting to chat!
The farm was very welcoming, and our campsite was very clean and clearly well maintained as well with the rest of the property.
The sites all seemed to have a good amount of privacy which was really refreshing.
Gorgeous site! The sound of the creek flowing by and a clear view of the stars is what camping dreams are made of. We saw several shooting stars during the Persieds! I would highly recommend this site at Flutterby.
Little piece of heaven! This was our second time back and can’t wait for our next trip! My teenage daughter and I go to spend some quality time together. We both love it! The homemade gelato is so good and perfect when it’s warm out!
We loved staying at the frond! Even on a humid and rainy weekend we had a fantastic time. Tai and Stella were very responsive and even warned us beforehand about the weather. Walking around the main side of the campground was pretty as well. Great experience and would definitely recommend it.
Beaver Haven was amazing! Camping by the creek was so lovely, the site was nice and spacious, the biscoff gelato was incredible, and the entire surrounding area is beautiful. We purchased so much cheese at local cheese stores! Great communication with host as well. Thank you so much for this wonderful weekend!
The land was pristine, each site was private and beautifully situated. The expectations about the facilities and amenities were very well communicated. The pre-arrival document is so helpful!
We had a lovely visit and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. 10/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at coyote car camp and had an absolute amazing time. The hosts are so friendly and came to make sure we found everything alright after arriving. Seeing all the beautiful flowers and butterflies in the summer season was just soooo beautiful. Along with the stream cooling us off when we got a little too warm. Everything was just perfect and whimsical. 10/10 camping trip in our books! Don’t miss out on the gelato ice cream either:) soooo yummy!
I loved tent camping with the natural beauty and convenience of The Willows campsite. Cold spring water, a calming creek and tall willow trees always make a meaningful weekend outside.
Best campsite I’ve ever had. The sound of the creek and the birds, no sirens or alerts on my phone, just the clippety clap of the Amish horse’s hooves on the road. My family needed this and we can’t wait to travel back in time to Flutterby!
This place is truly magical. I would want to come back here, stay longer and bring all my friends. We stayed in beaver Haven under a willow tree next to the creek. It couldn't be more picturesque. Tia + Stella have an AMAZING guide full of cute things to do. I would recommend this place to anyone who feels good being self sufficient and able to pack in / out.
i can’t say enough good things about this place! it’s gorgeous, the campsites are great & well maintained, there’s a lot to look around at on the property, and the hosts are very friendly & accommodating. during my most recent visit they added a self-serve locally hand crafter gelato freezer, which is incredibly deluxe. would highly recommend to anyone who loves being outside!
Third time camping at Tai & Stella’s beautiful farm — as always it was such a wonderful experience and beautiful place to find some peace and quiet. We’ll be back!
This was the perfect weekend getaway!
Not too far from the Kickapoo River to enjoy a day floating or paddling, a very quiet location where you can connect with nature!
It was a great couple of days. I met one of the owners when arriving and they were just finishing tidying up. Very lovely quick meet and greet before setting up camp. After that we were left to our own devices. The bugs were very tame. I didn’t need to spray any mosquito spray on me or my daughter. The spring was nice and cool and offered a good midday refresh. My almost 3 year old loved it. She really cuddled into the tent life. The picnic table area under the trees offered shade during the day while more toward the entrance of coyote camp offered a good sunbathing opportunity. Once the sky cleared up and night the stars really stood out. I’ll definitely be back and maybe bring some others along with me. Great experience!
What a beautiful and special place. This is our third time back and the spot of our proposal! Tia was so accommodating and helpful with everything.
The land is a beautiful and special place and they continue to make it better every time we come back. They do such a beautiful job of maintaining it.
I think the ONLY thing someone might be annoyed with is the Rooster that starts at the crack of dawn. So if that would affect you, bring ear plugs.
Make sure you bring some cash for Magpie Gelato. An absolute great addition, delicious, and highly dangerous as its so close by.
This is by far the best Hipcamp you can find in the Midwest.
If you want a relaxing spot and peaceful area, I would recommend you going here. There’s so many random things that you can do and look at I even found a baby bunny. It was so cute. I also found a couple monarch eggs that I was stoked about. Tai + Stella’s place is one for the book and my group was a tad bit on the louder side and I was so happy that we picked the spot that we did because we did not want to intrude on any other campers there, but let me tell you the hosts are so nice and caring we will be back. Thank you so much for the trip.
