Dells of the Eau Claire Park Campground stands out as a unique destination in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, thanks to its breathtaking riverside gorge and picturesque waterfall. Nestled along the Eau Claire River near Aniwa, this scenic campground features 28 wooded sites, with 16 equipped with electric hookups, all set in a tranquil natural environment. Located on the east side of County Road Y, the campground offers gravel pads, picnic tables at each site, and convenient access to vault toilets and a centrally located water pump. Upon arrival, campers can easily self-register and purchase firewood from the on-site wood shed. The park's amenities and natural attractions truly enhance the experience. Hiking trails wind through towering pines, leading to the “High Bridge” and the stunning rocky dells, which are impressive rock formations shaped by the river. For those looking to cool off, a sandy swimming beach on the Eau Claire River provides a refreshing escape, complete with changing rooms and nearby picnic shelters. Families can enjoy the playground, horseshoe pits, and several reservable picnic shelters, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings. Paddlers and anglers are drawn to the park's calm pools and excellent fishing spots, while the fall season showcases vibrant leaf colors along the trails.
