This was a beautiful spot, the directions were clear, and the hosts were kind. Highly recommend. The country side is full of green rolling hills and creeks. It’s 20 minutes from Viroqua and 30 minutes from Kickapoo Valley Reserve. The only downside was the firewood was wet, otherwise a great experience.

Car camping was great. I have a Prius and easily made it to the site on the mowed path. More farm than woods/wilderness so the evening noises were cows, not coyotes. Andy was very kind and provided lots of firewood.

Great spot to bring the family!
We had the perfect weekend camping on Andy and Marla’s land with our 3 kiddos and pup! Lots of space to spread out and let our dog run around. The kids could have played in the creek all day long. Andy and Marla were great hosts. We are looking forward to coming back again!

My dogs and I LOVED it!!
This was seriously our best camping experience yet. Andy and Marla let us set up in their fenced in dog park area. My dogs were able to run around off leash and play in the pond, which is deep enough for a 75 pound lab/pit to swim in. There are some nicely mowed trails on the property, and Andy mentioned wanted to make a trail map for campers, which would be awesome. There is also a very quiet gravel road nearby that you can get some good mileage on. You can tell Andy and Marla really want their guests to enjoy themselves. I even overdid it on my morning walk with the dogs and ended up going way further than I expected, getting back to camp shortly before we were scheduled to leave. They had no problem giving me extra time to pack up so we wouldn’t be rushing. I am already looking for when we can get back there! Thank you so much, Andy and Marla!

Beautiful site
The site was absolutely gorgeous, and the directions Andy and Marla left were perfect. We arrived later than anticipated, and missed the chance to meet but they left lovely messages and had firewood set up on our arrival as well as offer for eggs. We're quite sorry we missed meeting them as they were excellent "virtual" hosts. We all loved the creek including our dog, and she loved running free, but we did not notice the barbed wire fence. She was fine but definitely kept her on leash after. The bugs were strong and we will return with a screen tent. :) Our carrier Verizon wasn't available and that was actually fantastic. I read a book in our rv that's been waiting too long to be read. Also, the site was exception -- beautiful and flat. We discovered our rv fridge worked too for the first time -- it's likely never been level enough before but we forgot to get ice and it was an emergecy for our potatoe salad. :)

Perfect driftless family camp
Andy and Marla are wonderful hosts who have opened up a section of their property for a fantastic camping experience. Plenty of room to camp and explore, as well as a beautiful little creek to play in. Big hills, a stone bluff, wooded trails, dark skies, and lots of wildlife. Much better than being crammed into your average campground, just pack out what you bring in and it will stay that way.

BEST Camping Experience I've had!
This was a super fun campsite! They were very kind and accommodating. They provided firewood and a fire pit. There is so much land to explore, and a little bit of cell service if that's what you're looking for. There is also a town nearby with public restrooms and showers.

Great place for you and your dogs!
Great spot and great hosts. I enjoyed my time fishing in the Driftless and relaxing at the end of the day at Andy & Marla’s place. I took advantage of their dog park, my two German Shepherds had a blast. Andy & Marla were very responsive, accommodating, and helpful when I got in a pickle.

Peaceful Wisconsin Grass Campsite
Nice quiet campsite. We were able to camp inside their nice grassy fenced in area that ended up being a dog park for our black lab. Their "dog park" area is not usually available for a campsite but Andrew was able to let us stay inside of it.

Fantastic place to camp
Fantastic place to camp. We camped next to the creek which had the sound of a flowing creek all night, perfect for sleeping. Can't wait to visit again.

Relaxing and Refreshing
My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful site! Andrew and his wife were very thoughtful and accommodating, and we even had firewood prepped before our arrival. The site was private, easily accessible, had plenty of shade, and the bubbling creek was relaxing and refreshing. It was practically mosquito-free too which is always a plus! The surrounding nature, birds, and trails made it a beautiful and relaxing weekend!

10/10 would book again!
The campsite was perfect. I booked on short notice and Andy was accommodating and friendly. The stream provides nice white noise while you’re sleeping. It rained heavily on my trip, but my gear stayed nice and dry. The site is well maintained. Great spot to stay if you are in the Driftless area fishing. Highly Recommend!
