Easy Camping on a Driftless Farm
Family with a 7 year old and 4 year old:
Circle M farm cultivates a cozy and inviting atmosphere to enjoy the simple things in life. Our weekend time was filled with endless swinging on swings, relaxing on hammocks, running around the farm, interacting with the animals (cats, dogs, sheep, pigs and chicken), playing carpetball, building campfires and enjoying coffee. Our kids also loved the playground, sand box and sprinkler during the afternoon heat.
Kriss herself is an outstanding host and radiates warmth and friendliness. She has anticipated every need and has you covered. Fresh baked pastries, coffee and breakfast items welcomed us every morning on her porch. Both the indoor bathroom and outdoor shower were immaculately clean and stocked with items.
We booked this weekend with no plan other than unplugging, relaxing, and spending time as a family. This is the first trip we have been on since we’ve had kids that we actually found RELAXING as our kids entertained themselves and we felt safe having them wander unaccompanied. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous property with us!

Whimsical Stay at Circle M Farm

Site 1 - Stylish Vintage Glamper Farm Stay
We had the most wonderful stay at Circle M Farm this past weekend. We had an amazing time hanging out with the dogs, pigs, sheep, chickens, and cats who loved sitting on our laps while we bird watched on the porch or relaxed around the campfire. The property is beautiful and well kept, and all of the thoughtful touches like fresh, homemade baked goods in the morning made it the perfect stay. Kriss was the best host, super responsive to all my messages and so warm and welcoming throughout our stay! We will most definitely be back.

This is the most special place. The camper is so cute and the rest of the farm is a dream. The animals, fires, cute touches & homemade muffins made our stay so lovely & there’s no way to explain the fun we had. We will be back!!

Site 1 - Stylish Vintage Glamper Farm Stay
This was our first Hipcamp stay and she certainly set the bar high! The vintage camper we stayed in was very clean and beautifully decorated. My daughter mentioned she likes dinosaurs so Kriss went in to her house and brought out some of her grandkid’s dinosaur games to use while we were there. Kriss and her family were so attentive to anything we needed and there was so much to do right on their property. We loved the wonderful muffins/scones she served in the mornings, and the Smore kits were a great detail to make the trip special. Our space was very quiet and private, yet we were able to see all their wonderful animals.
Our biggest concern during the stay was the bugs. The camper was vintage, and the screen door did not seal. We had such a large amount of flies and other insects in our camper and by our front porch we did consider leaving a couple times. I realize camping or glamping does come with bugs, but this was rather overwhelming. We woke up each day with many, many dead bugs all over our beds and it really did put a damper on our experience.
With that said, if they could seal the campers a bit better we would absolutely be back.
Kriss and her family deserve a 5 plus rating!! They work hard to give their guests a special experience and it shows!!

We loved camping at Kriss’z place! It was lovely and quiet and they provided so many nice touches like all the stuff for smores, a nice breakfast and a sauna. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect, such and incredible place. Property was beautiful, hosts were amazing and provided some of the best amenities you could want when camping. Bathroom was great! Provided fireweed and amore kit was above and beyond. My favorite part was the outdoor shower that has hot water! Stay here. It's amazing!

Easy Camping on a Driftless Farm
This property is exceedingly well kept up! The owners were very nice and attentive to our needs. The amenities were outstanding and well set up. This was my wife’s first time using a hip camp and she described the farm as a B&B for campers! The area is a hidden gem for WI and the topography is very different from the rest of the state. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Absolutely perfect and complete farm style getaway! Extended our stay so we could enjoy all of the extras that come with the booking, including hanging out with the pigs and dogs, and just during and watching the chickens do their thing.
Plenty of space to relax and walk around, as well as super close to the quiet, little town square with drinks and great food! So glad we found this place and the amazing hosts!

Staying here has become a summer highlight for a few years in a row now. The hosts are thoughtful and put together a charming and unique experience. The location is also central to nearby state parks and cute towns, so it serves as a home base to many a weekend getaway adventure.

We had a great time tent camping on Kriss’ property! She and her family are lovely hosts. We loved starting each day with coffee and fresh baked pastries on the porch, watching all the birds, and chatting about all the fun things to do in the area. We look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Circle M. Our trailer was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The property is beautiful and quiet, with lots of privacy and room to roam around. The animals are great. We had a camp kitty that hung around our whole visit. She was on the porch waiting for me each morning, very sweet.

They were so accommodating! The farm is so cozy and equipped with everything you would need for a weekend away. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy and had what we needed. Will for sure be back and recommend to others!

Staying on Kriss and her family's farm is glorious. As I drove up, I was met by her husband, as well as some friendly cats and chickens. They have an absolutely lovely farm with several places to stay in their retro campers or tent. Kriss's husband and I had a couple great conversations and he even lent me a book on a subject we both enjoy.
In addition their facilities are top notch. There was an inside bathroom for campers to share. It was very clean and well stocked. Walk-in shower, tub, towels, the whole bit. In the morning, strong coffee, fruit, yogurt, and banana bread were promptly ready at 7AM.
I plan to return if they will have me!

This place is everything and more. I’ve never felt so relaxed, comfortable and at peace here. The camper is nostalgic, a great little porch as well to sit outside on in the evenings. There’s nothing better than waking up and looking out the window to see the animals. There are great trails to walk on and a pond to sit and relax by. Every morning Kriss and her husband will put fresh brewed coffee, homemade scones and muffins for you to enjoy on the sun filled outdoor porch. You can get the AMAZING sauna heated up while you enjoy your breakfast. You can also ride the bikes into town and walk the countryside. There are baby sheep in the heard this year along with 3 new little piglets. No cows this year. There are 2 farm dogs that are so friendly right along with the barn cats that will come say hello. Also a separate bathroom for you to use with a large shower and tub. This is a place you don’t want to miss out on, I highly recommend.

Easy Camping on a Driftless Farm
First off the property is lovely and well maintained. We had several options for our 16’ trailer. They had water and basic electricity available throughout. All spots are an easy walk to the warm, clean and well outfitted bathroom and shower Each morning they had coffee and basic breakfast options that were fantastic The family physically helped us place the trailer for set up and helped again to hook up at the end of our stay. The property is an easy walk to town with a few shops and coffee and restaurants Lovely place with lovely people.

I don't think I can recommend Kriss and Shannon's farm enough. From the warm welcome and orientation to the idyllic views and peaceful setting, I'm already looking forward to a return trip. Petting the animals, strolling the nearby town, chatting with Kriss and Shannon and other guests, enjoying a coffee and scone in the morning on the scenic front porch... to say nothing of the sauna! I only wish I had stayed longer. Such a gem.

This is a lovely, cozy property not far from Blanchardville Wisconsin and Yellowstone lake.
Kriss and her family are excellent hosts, and I loved being greeted by their cows!

What a magical get away. If you’re looking to camp without needing to purchase camping gear, in a private natural paradise, this is the place. I was surrounded by nature, the sweetest farm animals, native prairies, dancing dragon flies, and gardens in the hippest vintage RV. All I had to do was show up. Kriss had everything including blankets, pillows, breakfast and s’mores for a fire in the evening. I’ll need to do the s’mores and sauna next time. .The farm, RVs and accommodations are neat, tidy and organized. The homemade muffins and coffee were a bonus. There’s an indoor shower and an outdoor shower. Towels were provided. Vintage bikes are available to ride into town on and there are friendly eating establishments too. Kriss and her husband are fabulous hosts!
