Absolutely gorgeous campsite!
Cayuga Falls was an incredible place to stay. Waking up to the river every morning with the steam rolling off the water, then sitting on the rocks with my coffee, made for the perfect start to each day. 🌲☕️
The campsite itself was so thoughtfully set up. He provides so many useful things, including a bear box, shovel, rake, saw, and fire pokers for roasting s’mores. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making the campsite comfortable and functional. I also really loved the layout of the site it felt incredibly private and tucked away in the woods.
The only downside is the walk in. When he says it’s a hike, believe him—it’s a hike! 😂 You’ll definitely be traversing rocks, stumps, and tree roots, and it’s more of a scramble to get to the site than a casual walk. Pack light! That said, the trek in absolutely did not deter us, and we would happily do it again.
The area was gorgeous, the campsite was incredibly well thought out, and being so close to Copper Falls State Park was a huge bonus. We absolutely plan to come back in the future!
