The campground is kinda small without a lot of amenities, but we really enjoyed staying here. The area is lush with greenery and trees, the site was level, and even though it rained all lot, the unpaved road stayed solid. It wasn't really buggy and the mosquitoes love me, though it was a little chilly. Given the lushness and rain I was worried, but I don't think I got bit once. The bathroom/toilets were clean enough, no electricity, sink and the hand sanitizer was empty. I do wish they had more light in front of the restroom, there is a lot of light in the back. The big playground shown in the pictures is no longer there, just the slide. The pavilion area was nice and there is a path down to the lower part of the park where you have access to the Apple River. It's not far out from downtown Amery, so that's nice too. It's a small town, but not super small, 2900+ I believe. But they have some cool shops, some restaurants and a grocery store. I wish more of the sites had electricity and even though site 3 says it does, it doesn't. Site 6 where we stayed dose. Over all, a nice place and I would recommend!
