Learn more about this land: We are open for winter camping, I have opened around 400 acres for you to enjoy. Our peaceful property a once beautiful operating farm now growing back to its natural state with some farm fields still being utilized. We have mature hardwood forests to small streams and ponds scattered throughout. Check in as early as you want if no one is at the site. Many trails for biking or hiking. We have a few larger areas to accommodate multiple groups check with us if you would like to see if we can accommodate you we are always happy to help.

Sugar maple

Good communication pre visit. I let Matt know when we were 20 minutes away and he was waiting on his 4 wheeler to show us to the site. He had the honey, eggs, and wood ready for us when we arrived. His land has a lot of decent dirt roads throughout. A lot of mature hardwood trees. He has a pretty neat system for collection of sap from trees, see pictures. Our campsite was the perfect one to choose considering we probably had an inch of rain the first night. It was up a hill so no water collected in the site. It was a good distance from the main dirt road in his property so it felt private enough yet still not too far to walk to the porty potty he has by the main road. Porty potty was older but as clean as it could be. Was a very enjoyable place to camp.

Sugar Maple

Not the worst but also not the best

It was okay if you do not want to do much (the swimming advertised was gross) Plenty of trails for sure, but no map or signs anywhere out there and from what we seen no potable water. We ended up leaving a day early because the coyotes out there and because it’s not a kid friendly place. Also the bathroom had a nest in it and spiders filled the other one and it was quite a hike to get to the bathroom and with smaller kids that isn’t idea. All in all super pretty (heavy mosquito area) so plan ahead. We never really dealt with Mathew personally so I can’t speak on him, but he did meet us at the entrance and drive us to the site and briefly pointed in different directions to tell us where things were very vaguely almost like he was in a rush. I personally won’t be back here, but it was quiet and pretty.

Second visit at a different site and it was even more beautiful. Maple syrup is a must have and the host is always friendly and accommodating!

Amazing Time

This was our first time using this service. But what an awesome experience. Matt was so kind and thoughtful. He even offered to move us to a different site if I couldn’t get the motorcycle and camper back to the site. We even purchased farm fresh eggs and pure maple syrup that they collected and made. What a great breakfast and experience. I was amazing and we will be back.
