Red Pine
A beautiful place with secluded space. After a tour in a side-by-side from the friendly host Matt, we walked trails through the rolling landscape, ate an apple off a tree, and saw a big bunch of stars.

Sugar Maple
My wife and I had a great weekend there! We were looking for a secluded spot surrounded by woods but not too deep into the woods, Sugar Maple was perfect! The camp site is on a slight incline and Matt did place some sand in 2 spots to put up a tent. Being surrounded by all those trees, the camp site stayed pretty cool during the day and even with the wind blowing through the tree tops, all we felt was a slight breeze.
There was another camper and a crew cutting down some trees, which wasn’t even a bother, you’re spread out far enough that you rarely saw or heard anyone. Although the site is a good distance from the freeway, it’s so quiet, you will hear random trucks in the middle of the night.
He also has maple syrup and honey for purchase…Delicious! Explore and you’ll see where the maple syrup came from.

This site was incredible! We stayed at Margaret’s pond, which was fantastic - across from a stunning cornfield, surrounded by trees, right next to a pond, and with a fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of tent space. Matthew was an amazing host, too; he was super friendly and helpful. The person I went camping with and I are both young women, so we were a little nervous using HipCamp for the first time, but we felt super safe the entire time.

Big Oak
Amazing campsite with amazing hosts! When we got there Matt was waiting our arrival and personally took us out to show us our campsite even though it was late. He provided clear directions for where to get water and had homemade maple syrup for purchasing!
