Frankland River Cabin Retreat-Sleeps 2 Adults
"How's the serenity?"
Great, peaceful, relaxing. The cabin is quaint and cozy. We spent most of time in the cabin recovering from burnout due to our busy, hectic work lives.
Watching the sunsets and the sheep in the next paddock
is good therapy for that. Though we did make the trip to the nearby town of Frankland River, lovely friendly folk there at the cafe and general store. Only criticisms were no soap rest in the shower cubicle and the clay driveway up to the cabin needs some gravel in the ruts and puddles, inconveniences more than issues.

Very nice quiet spot on the banks of the Frankland River.
Good amount of bird life and nice trees along the river.

This is a fantastic site for the self sufficient campers that like to stay around camp. There is not a lot to do close by in the area. The river was great with a kayak water level depending.

Beautiful riverside location
Beautiful spot right on the river. Access was a little steep other than that it was a secure, tidy site. I would recommend to friends and being able to shut the gate was great for our dogs. Thanks for having us :-)

Christmas Day
Great spot to get away from it all, the road is close but very little traffic you still have the feeling of isolation. The river still had plenty of water to jump on the stand up paddle board and kayak’s, kids & adults all had a great time, will be back

Clean and fun.
The site was very clean and the kids had a great time. We canoed on the river and we’re able to have a campfire. We had a lovely stay.

Frankland river retreat camp is a beautiful spot, right on the river. Very relaxing, quiet and private. We loved the amount of space we had.
Great communication from the owners.
We would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to avoid the crowds.
Some Telstra reception at times.

We camped for 4 nights over the WA day long weekend . Although it was raining and windy at time we had a fantastic time . Our camp site was right next to the river with a gentle slope to allow us to get our kayak into the water. Jade was very friendly and really helpful. Highly recommended Back soon

Wasn’t expecting the campsite to be so close to the road consists on 83 acres. No phone reception at all. River was low but was expected as middle of summer. Was still nice and quiet, good amount of shade.

Although this property is in a peaceful location the price you pay is well above what it is worth. For a property that offers no facilities ( e.g. water , power or ablutions) $15 per person per night is too high. We believe a fairer price would be $10 per person per night. summertime is to dry to go

Frankland River Retreat
Great place to get away from it all, dog friendly and a great place for them to run and run. Fully fenced so dogs can explore without disappearing. Beautiful views from verandah and sunroom.
Best to take everything you need as not much in the way of shops nearby and you won't want to leave either

Magic little spot overlooking the river & totally yours for the duration of your stay, very peaceful & relaxing with wineries in easy reach. Highly recommended.
