Milton/Amy’s land was a great find! Very nice place, felt private. Electric and water hook up was as advertised. Very helpful hosts, provided clear directions and quick response. We would definitely stay there again.

The host were both very nice and accommodating! It was a perfect quiet little spot, with lots of parks and places to explore with my dogs nearby.
We definitely plan on staying here again because we were not able to see all the things we wanted to the first time

We enjoyed our stay with Russ & Amy. They were very accomodating and provided everything we needed, including a great visit with them. We plan to make a return visit in the spring.

Milton has been wonderful and accommodating with our big RV for our long stay. Good power source, water and providing a external tank to dump if needed. Secluded and quiet.

Milton and Amy's land worked out well on our way home. We had a little trouble finding their spot; Google sent to their Raging River address, which is their house. The camping area, and app. view would best be reached turning onto Forest Rd.
They saw us wandering around and came out to guide us.
We backed onto the gravel area, and had no problem getting level.
Having the 30amp in that humidity is a Godsend! There was lots of grass and neighborhood roads to walk our Golden.

The camp site was convenient to the interstates, the location was quiet, safe and tucked away.
Instructions and communications with host(s) not good.
The instructions delivered after I paid were nothing - however they assumed that you would KNOW that the RV pad is on the NEXT street parallel to THEIR physical address and down a house. Their address listed on Hipcamp is not the location you will park your RV!
Despite my repeated contact with the host TRYING to ascertain the camping location, we stumbled upon the tenet who helped us figure out the RV pad and 30 amp box. Thankfully he was home, the host was very late in responding to me.
So fair warning to weary travelers who may be late arrivals around dusk or after dark this will not be a happy choice for you with the current lousy instructions on how to find the RV pad, and slow response to communications via the Hipcamp app.
I missed getting a decent dinner because of the lack of decent instructions on how to DRIVE to the RV pad.

This hip camp is all about the hospitality! Amy and Milton are beautiful human beings. They go out of their way and truly give ….not to receive!!! The electric and water hook up are such a plus. It’s a safe and comfortable place to retreat!!! There are hiking trails and historic sites nearby. The site has a private feel.

Had a fantastic stay at Russ and Amy’s! They are beyond wonderful hosts and people! The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few other houses around but their property is large and my space felt private. Would come again :)

This was a decent place to stay in West Virginia. The price was right for a brief overnight stay, but I would prefer another location for longer stays. The host's communications were good. I wish that the neighborhood, while rural, green and natural, were somewhat improved. Thank you for having good hookups. Thank you!

The hosts are amazing and so fun!!! The electric and water hook up are in perfect condition. The camping pad is easy access and easy leveling …. Very private (extremely) even though homes are close. Good people and perfect stay. Hiking paths by the River are close!!! So much to explore and enjoy

Nice quiet place to park for a night. Milton and Amy were very friendly and helpful. Pastoral setting. We’re traveling in a self-contained 20’ van. The parking was level and we appreciated getting our battery charged. No need for water, although they offered.

Hello everyone. We stayed a week with Amy and Milton at the Amy resort. And we can't say enough about how wonderful this couple was, beautiful inside and out. The place was peaceful and they had deer, and it was just a great time.
They went out of the way to help us set up. Let us use their hose. Let us use their extension cord that hooked to the building for electric for RV. They gave us a tour of the house and the bar. It was so adorable. They went out of their way to make us feel very at home. Can't wait to go back and see them again. You guys are awesome, and so was the site. If I could give it a 100 stars I would. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And I almost forgot Milton even went out of his way to help my husband Michael, fix the truck because it wouldn't start. Thank you guys again. I feel like we made 2 friends in West Virginia

Amy and Russ were very accommodating. Easy in and out. Overnight on the way home so we did not take advantage of the local amenities, but the area is full of history.

The host was frriendly and responsive to my messages. When we arrived, the electric at the original location was being worked on. We were quickly moved to another location. The area is quiet and the people are friendly

The hosts were quick to respond letting us know that they would be out of town which was fine. We had forgotten our power cord but they were nice enough to loan us theirs however to find an outlet that was working was a bit of a challenge in the storage shed. The 2 on the building did not work.
The parking spot is located beside an out building or onetime garage (behind their home) which was in poor condition with a hole in the side of the building. The flag of our past president was at full mast. Host should remain neutral for their guest. Their home is under construction with materials and oil filters etc around the property. Might be more advantageous to hosts to finish work on the home and garage space before listing on Hip Camp. We wanted to take a walk in the neighborhood but there were several no trespassing signs and keep out signs. We felt unsafe walking. This is not a remote setting but in a neighborhood with several homes close by. The title is a bit misleading. The photos do not represent the whole property. We were in a poor location and unable to see the photographs of the site (which may have helped us u understand the conditions. .
