We had an amazing experience at Amy Camp through Hipcamp! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Check-in was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they truly enjoy hosting people.
The campground is peaceful, quiet, and a perfect place to relax. Even though they’re currently expanding the property, everything was well maintained, and it’s exciting to see the improvements they’re making. We have no doubt it will become an even more incredible destination.
The only disappointing part of our stay was that we were only there for one night while passing through on our trip. We honestly wish we could have stayed much longer! If they have availability on our return trip home, we’ll definitely be booking another stay.
We highly recommend Amy Camp to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and well-run Hipcamp. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality—we can’t wait to come back!

Russ, Amy's hubby, was a great guy. Came out and showed us where to park and hook up. Gaves us great RV advice and was a perfect host.
Camping on Amy and Russ's land was, I was going to say like being at home, but it's way better than home. They have such a lovely spot 😍! The grass is so nice to walk barefoot through. There's plenty of room to relax in peace and quiet. Amy and Russ go out of their way to be helpful if they can with anything you may need. I can't tell you how much they helped with advice and a water heater install! And the other residents of the property are Bonnie and Kevin and they are also very nice and helpful. I'll be back without a doubt. I almost feel like part of the family.

Amy and Russ are wonderful hosts. They go out of their way to make sure you've been well taken care of.
They have enough knowledge and know-how to help you with just about anything for your rig. They have the ability to empty your tanks for you even!
Lots of grass and birds make it so pleasant to just enjoy sitting outside. My dog so much enjoyed being able to roll in the grass and going for walks.
The water pressure is not good 😐. But! I fill my tank and that does work well!
Reception can be kind of spotty? Which doesn't bother me much because I don't choose to be connected quite so much...

We like staying here when we pass through overnight. It's very economical, and it's quiet! This is our second time stopping through.
Russ and Amy Milton are great! The space was just as described. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area!
Milton and Amy were extremely helpful, especially with clear directions. Our diesel heater went out, so staying at Milton and Amy’s place was truly a lifesaver…having electric hookups made all the difference for us.
It was a safe, comfortable place to stay for the night, and we really appreciated the peace of mind. As a bonus, we loved seeing the chickens…they added such a nice, welcoming touch to the stay

this site was great for a quick overnight stay! i took my dogs on a walk around the neighborhood, there was a dog at a neighbors house that spooked me and followed us, but nothing happened. just a heads up for dog owners, keep an eye out, there were a couple roaming neighborhood dogs.
however, everything else was lovely and i would definitely recommend. the wifi was a little spotty but i think i was a bit too far away.

Milton/Amy’s land was a great find! Very nice place, felt private. Electric and water hook up was as advertised. Very helpful hosts, provided clear directions and quick response. We would definitely stay there again.

The host were both very nice and accommodating! It was a perfect quiet little spot, with lots of parks and places to explore with my dogs nearby.

We enjoyed our stay with Russ & Amy. They were very accomodating and provided everything we needed, including a great visit with them. We plan to make a return visit in the spring.

This spot is convenient to major routes and a great stop over place. The hosts and friendly and helpful but respect your privacy.
Milton has been wonderful and accommodating with our big RV for our long stay. Good power source, water and providing a external tank to dump if needed. Secluded and quiet.
Milton and Amy's land worked out well on our way home. We had a little trouble finding their spot; Google sent to their Raging River address, which is their house. The camping area, and app. view would best be reached turning onto Forest Rd.
They saw us wandering around and came out to guide us.
We backed onto the gravel area, and had no problem getting level.
Having the 30amp in that humidity is a Godsend! There was lots of grass and neighborhood roads to walk our Golden.

Nice safe spot, Amy was helpful and friendly. A picnic or small table would be nice.
Milton and Amy are good people. They are good at giving you privacy if you want it. Or helping you out if you need it. They are very accommodating.
The camp site was convenient to the interstates, the location was quiet, safe and tucked away.
Instructions and communications with host(s) not good.
The instructions delivered after I paid were nothing - however they assumed that you would KNOW that the RV pad is on the NEXT street parallel to THEIR physical address and down a house. Their address listed on Hipcamp is not the location you will park your RV!
Despite my repeated contact with the host TRYING to ascertain the camping location, we stumbled upon the tenet who helped us figure out the RV pad and 30 amp box. Thankfully he was home, the host was very late in responding to me.
So fair warning to weary travelers who may be late arrivals around dusk or after dark this will not be a happy choice for you with the current lousy instructions on how to find the RV pad, and slow response to communications via the Hipcamp app.
I missed getting a decent dinner because of the lack of decent instructions on how to DRIVE to the RV pad.

Very nice people and so accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay! We found the place easily and they were there to greet us and help us settle in.
This hip camp is all about the hospitality! Amy and Milton are beautiful human beings. They go out of their way and truly give ….not to receive!!! The electric and water hook up are such a plus. It’s a safe and comfortable place to retreat!!! There are hiking trails and historic sites nearby. The site has a private feel.
Had a fantastic stay at Russ and Amy’s! They are beyond wonderful hosts and people! The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few other houses around but their property is large and my space felt private. Would come again :)
