Sitting in the heart of Hedgesville,WV you can visit many hstoric areas within driving distance such as downtown Hedgesville and George Washington's bathtub located in nearby Berkeley Springs. The infamous C&O canal and many biking and walking trails are available.Come stay in the hills of wild and wonderful West Virginia! Stationed near Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, you'll be immersed in nature's wonder! Back Creek only miles away offers fishing, kayaking and floating, or just relax by the water like our ancestors did. Hiking and biking? Take a quick trip through historic Berkeley Springs to nearby Hancock, MD or into Williamsport, MD and trek down the famous C&O canal. For those accustomed to the finer things, the Woods resort located just a couple miles away at the northern gateway to the Shenandoah Valley offers the perfect day-trip getaway for golfing, spa and fishing on their 1800 acres of pristine land. And if you just a quiet place to be alone with nature a world apart from everyday hassles, you'll find the serene campsite provides everything you need to relax and unwind. Site 1 is located on the left as soon as you turn onto Sable Lane. There will be a wooden sign with the site number as well as other accommodations such as chairs, firepit and trash can located on the site. Note: This site is immediately to the left once you make the last turn. Site is large enough for a small trailer, but recommended for tents or pop-ups. Water and electric will need to be provided by guest.

Quiet Country Camping

Mixed emotions

Ian was a wonderful host, and quite a gentleman. He was kind enough to bring a chair, and portable fire pit 🤗 The site unfortunately is very close to the road, so it was noisy throughout the night. The space is small, and are in view of neighbors from every direction, so not private. It’s great if you want a quick pull off for the night 🤗 The area itself, and the ride in was beautiful. Be sure to bring a sealable portable potty also. 😉

Quiet Country Camping

Nice little spot to pitch a tent. Be prepared for primitive camping. There is a stream a few minutes drive away you can filter water. Not far from a store and close to Sleepy Creek trails.

The site was nice, host are really cool. Will work for a small trailer, tent or van. Host supplies wood and the site is easily accessed. The place is convenient to martinsburg, hedgesville and Berkeley springs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again Five stars

Awesome spot!

Campsite was awesome. Hosts were super friendly and came by to say hello. Would’ve been nice to have more pictures/clearer instructions to find the spot but overall had a great time
