Our site had gorgeous views, we were close to so many biking, hiking and kayaking trails and we could not have asked for a nicer host. We weren’t prepared for the slippery hillside to get from our vehicle to our camper-weather related, no fault of the host! The site is very narrow and you will definitely need some experience in backing up to get situated. Connecting and leaving during a downpour is never recommended, but this site was tough to maneuver out of even in four wheel drive. Overall, our first HipCamp experience was pretty good.

Great place to camp! Heidi was very accommodating..... beautiful views and very quiet! Adhere to her 20 foot max and know how to pull and back a trailer before staying at Heidi's place....great experience!

It was a great experience. Host was very gracious to accommodate everything I needed for my camp. It was very windy, and she allowed me to park my truck to act as a wind block to keep my tent from blowing over! Highly recommend for a quick getaway trip or a nice stop thru for traveling campers!

Heidi has a beautiful piece of ‘Almost Heaven’ conveniently located near Morgantown WV. The sites are level and the views spectacular. Heidi and her mother Susie made us feel like honored guests and treated us to a tour of their bountiful garden. We will most definitely stay again when we are in the area.

The host (Heidi) was very kind and provided us with all kinds of information and local produce, all great. The views were nothing but stunning and after a long ride a cool swim in the pool was very welcome. There is also a nice shop with handcrafted WV themed products. At night we saw fireflies and rabbits. A memory we will keep with us. Definitely going back if we have the chance!

Overall this place was beautiful. Heidi was very friendly and helpful. However, we have a 25 foot camper with an F250 truck hauling it. It should be noted ahead of reserving that Heidi's place is on a narrow piece of property at the op of a very steep hill. Our first attempt up the driveway was scary. We had to back down and take a run at it to get up to the top. Once we were up there it was very narrow so turning the truck and camper around without tipping it down the hill was very tricky but doable. Just ensure you don't have a camper any larger than 25 feet.

Heidi is literally the perfect host, on the perfect property. It’s as if you’re in a state park, overlooking the forests of West Virginia. She’s a fun and engaging person to talk to. She can also point you to all the local hotspots. This also geographically positioned as a convenient stopover on our snowbird journey. The roads are windy and climbing getting here, but scenic. She deserves better photography of her stunning property.

Heidi is a terrific host. You will feel right at home at this place. It is right outside the city so you don't feel so far away that you can't go out at night, or so close, that you miss out on being away from the city. If you forget something, Walmart is less than 3 minutes away, but most things are solved by texting this wonderful host. She also has an amazing little gift shop with so many handmade and beautifully crafted items. I cannot recommend this place enough for those who need a place to nest on their journeys.

Great spot! This is one of our new favs. The site has beautiful sweeping views of WV. Heidi was so welcoming and helpful -- we felt like we were visiting an old friend.
Sites 1&2 are on a nice gravel area with lots of room for your vehicle and trailer. Very dog friendly space, with room for them to run around.

Heidi was an absolutely wonderful host. She was so kind, friendly, and accommodating. The views from her property are beautiful. Ourselves and our fur children had an excellent trip. Would highly recommend. We will certainly be back and have family members already making plans to head out and enjoy some camping at The Crow’s Nest. Make sure to check out the shop and grab some veggies!
