Welcome to Mountain View Mini Farm!! Almost Heaven West Virginia. Where we have a few animals on the property and do some homesteading. On the property we also have a Ice-Cream Shack that is open to the public. Hours for the Ice-Cream Shack varies. We are close to Historic Berkeley Springs and love sharing this piece of heaven with people like yourself. If you do not like the big camp grounds and just want a nice spot with a view to pitch a tent, or set up your camper, then you found it . A little about Mountain View Mini Farm. We are just minitues outside of Historic Berkeley Springs WV and 15 minutes from Cacapon State Park. You will have Great Views of the stars from your site. The sites are not far from our barn, and we will leave one tractor bay open for you, just in case it was to rain and you want to use it as shelter. The sites are not perfect level so you will have to level your camper a little. You will have your own fire ring and picnic table, also you will have access to fresh water. You will need a good size water hose if your going to hook up water to your camper from site 1. We have electric hookups that are 20amp Only. There is a clean outhouse but no shower at this time. We are working on making a shower. There is plenty of room for outdoor yard games. You will hear a little road noise and we do have neighbors. You will see me and my family out working around and feeding animals at times. The hosts house is not to far from the campsites. This is just a peaceful piece of property on a mini farm to get away and relax and explore Berkeley Springs WV. We are also only 15 minutes to Cacapon River for Kayaking and Swimming. We are also only 15 minutes to the C&O canal for hiking and biking. We do sell firewood for $7.00 that's around 13 pieces of wood. There is cornhole by the ice-cream shack that you are welcome to play. There will be more things added to the property in the near future. So come on out to the mountains and be our guest.

Come pitch a tent or park your camper at Mountain View Mini Farm. If you do not like the big camps and just want a nice spot with a view to pitch a tent or set up your camper, then you found it . A little about Mountain View Mini Farm. We are just minitues outside of Historic Berkeley Springs WV and 15 minutes from Cacapon State Park. You will have great views of the stars from your site. The sites are near our barn and not far from the host's private house. The sites are not at the perfect level, so you will have to level your camper a little. Site 1 - Mountain View Mini Farm
This was our first HipCamp and it was perfect! The spot is lovely, gorgeous view, and a yard with lawn games. There are goats and rabbits on the farm. Our little girl loved seeing them. There were some bees in the port-a-potty but our host took care of them right away. Our toddler even had a hard time adjusting to sleeping in the tent but they never said anything. They were completely understanding and lovely. It was only 5 mins into town to great breakfast at a very reasonable price and great coffee. We’ll definitely be back.

Loved camping here! It was wonderfully quiet and well kept on a beautiful piece of property. Host was super nice, and flexible about me being a day late! Lots of super cute bunnies running around early in the morning too!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here while checking out the Berkeley Springs area for our weekend anniversary trip! Had everything we needed, and the property was amazing with great views! We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area!

My husband and I came with our little Happier Camper not knowing what to expect other than the good reviews I had read. Alan’s little farm was beyond our expectations. Just a perfect 3 night stay! Alan kept in contact making sure we had what we needed and when met in person, kind, very friendly and helpful when giving us info about the area. Will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed to unwind with our dogs halfway from Cleveland to Ocean City, MD. We are very new to camping with our vintage camper and Alan was very helpful with how to get situated. We are staying again in a couple days on the way home and I’m looking forward to waking up the the Mountain View! Thank you!

Our very first Hipcamp stay was a great experience. Alan and his family were amazing hosts! The site (site #2) had a beautiful view along with a spacious tent pad, electric & water hookups close by. The outhouse was very clean & we brought our own shower tent which worked out fine. There is firewood available for a small fee & we appreciated Alan stocking us up when we requested more. The views are gorgeous from this site. We saw a beautiful moonrise over the mountain ridge! On a clear night, you can see so many stars. We spent many hours under the shaded area enjoying the cool breezes. The hosts also have an ice-cream shack on the property, which was perfect for a hot day. Our double scoops w/ waffle cones were yummy! We also enjoyed the friendly goats , chickens & ducks daily. It was fun to walk over and watch the farm animals. Overall, we had the best time camping at this location. We are thankful for Alan and his wife’s hospitality! Alan was very quick to respond with any questions we presented. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay on such a beautiful slice of heaven in West Virginia!

Really enjoyed the view from our camping spot! The host was extremely welcoming and they had a food/ ice cream shack on the property. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to camp there again!

I really enjoyed my overnight at Alan's. No problem finding it. The site was perfect for me and my dog. Everything was clean and well-kept and Alan was available and friendly, without being intrusive, at all. Just a totally pleasant experience that I would whole-heartedly recommend!

Fabulous weekend with a great view and many great eateries nearby Berkely Springs...hosts Allan and Mandy were extremely gracious and accomodating...first Hipcamp for us and will do it again!!!...and try the ice creme from Wisconsin that they sell!

We had a great few days !!! Alan and his wife are amazing. Very attentive, responsive, informative and all around great people. Our first time camping in the area and we could not have had a better place to stay. The views, the stars, the goats and chickens on the farm and the several deer that we saw on the property made for a great stay. We saw several shooting stars and the starlink satellites passing by. Alan and Mandy recommended various things to see and do. We will definitely be back as a few days was not long enough. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful property with us. It was a pleasure meeting you.

I had a great time tent camping at Alan's Mini Farm campsite. He was also responsive on the app,and took initiative to check in to make sure I had everthing I needed once I had arrived and set up. It stood apart from other campsites in the area as having a bathroom which was a clean portajohn that worked great. I brought a hose and trunks to wash up in and that worked out but I think they are continuing to update the property. For RVs you are set. Lastly I would have to mention that the animals are terrific especially the little goats👍

Pro’s - Beautiful property, wonderful views, friendly host, cool goat farm, delicious ice cream from truck on property. Cons - site close to hosts home, bright lights around site, port a pot bathroom, no area to wash camp dishes.

Alan's spot is a little slice of WV Heaven! Minutes to Berkeley Springs and convenient to explore the area with State Park, rivers, and bike trails. Beautiful views and a nice shady area to relax near the site. Water and Electric hookups were great (remember 20 Amp only, bring converter). As a bonus, enjoy meeting his goats and watching the chickens or visit the ice cream stand elsewhere on the farm! The owners are super nice and accommodating. Just a wonderful spot and we are looking forward to staying again.

This camping spot is really in a beautiful spot not far from Berkeley Springs. Views in all directions and the host has made it such a lovely place to be. He has clearly made a lot of effort to make it a comfortable, quiet spot for campers. I’d love to come back again!
