Relaxing getaway in Lost River, WV. Originally a barn, the BunkHouse Barn was redesigned into a rustic-modern retreat with custom finishes on 5 acres in the mountains. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a huge deck with a hot tub and gas grill, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace. An outdoor fire pit is perfect for stargazing and s’mores. Ideal for groups, families, and couples. Dog-friendly. High-speed fiber internet is available. WINTER RENTERS: You must have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive in the event of snow. The space: If you're looking to escape to the mountains but still enjoy creature comforts and rustic-modern design, the BunkHouse Barn is for you. The home is a restored barn with original features preserved throughout. Experience true WV glamping with a fire pit, jacuzzi, and wrap-around deck in the woods. We also offer ultra-fast fiber-optic internet and A/C for modern comfort. The house comfortably sleeps 6 guests but can accommodate additional guests for a fee. We ask that you respect the $20 per additional person fee for parties larger than 6. Guest access: Guests have full access to the home. The property sits on a private mountain lane with no through traffic. There are approximately 2–3 miles of quiet wooded walking along the lane directly from the house. Other things to note: WINTER RENTERS: You must have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive in the event of snow. Cell service is limited on the mountain. However, there is some AT&T service across the street near our cabin. A guest phone is available in the Bunkhouse for your use. The internet is very fast, and Wi-Fi coverage extends throughout the property. The tap water is filtered and treated and tastes good, so bringing bottled water is optional.
